The current build for ipad, except the regular ipad, feels flimsy. The old design looks dated but it is far more durable than the current design. I’d wish they can make them a bit thicker or sturdier. I always bring my ipad mini 4 when on the go. I put it in my bag. Not bent so far.
If true, I think I might downsize from the Pro Max lineup to a regular Pro or mini and then get this. Ready to have a smaller phone for most of the day, but hate having a full size iPad for content consumption.

I agree, there have been so many speculations and hype of a redesigned iPad mini, but no solid evidence. If and when Apple decides to release a redesigned iPad mini , I am in.
Prosser isn't a leaker. He guesses. And his guesses are about as good as anyone else's.

Correct. It’s not hard in this case to predict another iPad mini is coming and it will adopt features to keep it in line with others. No different than “a new iPhone is coming”.
he’s had a couple leaks over the years but he’s a coin flip at best.

I have a feeling they use Prosser to weed out the leakers.

I really like the Touch ID on the 2020 iPad Air. I only wish it was on my iPhone 11 Pro.
This isn't just Prosser saying but Gurman posted a very recent article on Bloomberg saying the same thing and he's the best in the business.
Could it be? Have I uncovered Prosser's actual identity?

I have a Mini 5 and no real reason to upgrade. However, I had the 10.2" Pro before that and I miss the ProMotion display (mainly for writing with the Pencil) and having 4 speakers...
Just give a slightly larger screen on a A14 based iPad Mini that allows HDR please, I am not asking for much. 
If that design is real, I would think the price tag is going to be more than the mini 5.
It's not really hard to imagine what the next iPad Mini will look like given the current iPads...
I'm probably a singleton with my opinion, but I like the design of the existing iPad Mini better.
That would be a great iPad if that pans out. Basically an mini iPad Air.
