I love it, just hope that I do not have to buy a 256GB version that is almost the same price as the Pro with 128GB as it is the case with the iPad Air.

Waiting that it comes out and I will choose between it or the Pro although I might still buy the base iPad if future reviews of iPadOS warrants it.

I hope it has 4 speakers.
A ways back I suggested that the next iPad Mini had a speaker in each corner, unlike the the present model with L+R close to the lightning port. It was always bad when you watch content sideways, but the speakers are all on the left or right when being held. :)

Looking forward to seeing this as it would be a good sketch book replacement.

Man, I love that render. But if this iPad ends up being true, I don’t think I could use it without a smart keyboard folio just like the 11” and the 12.9” have one. And yeah, I know it is difficult to put a keyboard in the space of a 9” device, so I think I’ll stay with my 11” iPad Pro. Also, I like having Face ID on the iPad, it doesn’t turn off the screen if you’re looking at it.

He is an immature, clickbait revenue seeking whore.
What's your problem? He brings one exclusive after another. AirTag renders were spot on and years before they were released. He got so many things right, but gets roasted because some of the timing is off? I guess release dates are the hardest as probably Apple sometimes changes their mind.
I actually enjoy his videos and find the way he brings them very entertaining. Maybe listen to an episode of his podcast and you'll discover he's a very knowledgeable and humble guy.
He has given renders of the upcoming MacBook (Air), Mac mini, Watch and now iPad mini. Can't wait to see how they pan out. By no means are they easy guessable as some of here claim.
The truth is MacRumors needs to report on his leaks because else they miss out on all the juicy stuff. That's why I think there's no need to emphasise 'his mixed track record' every time. We all know Prosser by now, no leaker nails them all, that's just part of the game.

I generally try not to complain, but MR and other sites regurgitating Prosser’s BS for cheap clicks is starting to get a little too overtly sleazy.

He’s not a “leaker,” he’s some dude who says a lot of crap that hardly ever pans out.

I get it, this is MacRumors, but come on, shouldn’t the rumors have at least a thin glaze of legitimacy?

Apparently MR thinks “common sense guesses” equals “leaks”. Personally I think my mini 5 is perfect just as it is for reading books. For all other iPad tasks I prefer to use a larger iPad.

finally with phone capabilities. but it would beat the iPhone pro... fu**, it would be perfect!!!

I kinda want one of these and I'm not sure why.
I know exactly what you mean. I already have and love my 2020 Air, but what I really wanted last year was a redesigned Mini with a slightly larger display and modern look. I’m scratching my head why I should own two iPads, though. Hmm…

That looks cool, but Apple already made a mistake by fragmenting the stylus market with two different Pencil types. I really hope they aren't introducing a third one.

Enough said.

Also I've got an iPad mini 4 that could use an update, so I hope these wild guesses plucked from the airspace between Prosser's ears are accurate.
Hopefully. These rumors get more interesting as time goes on. Let’s just pray they become reality someday and don’t just stay rumors. Those renders look nice.

I'm glad Apple will keep updating the iPad Mini. I like the small form factor.

I just had the battery replaced on my iPad Mini 4 for 179,000 krw. Its only used only as a media consumption device (YouTube & Reading News) so it serves my needs.

My next purchase will most likely one of the larger iMacs with whatever the next iteration of the M series chip is called. I would like to use iWorks but can't intall it on my current 2011 machine which was upgraded with a 500 GB Samsung 860 Evo a few years ago.

Wish I had more money.... but I don't.

Everyone got to live within their budget.
