Yea I did all it would do is check every 15 minutes for threads you subscribed to. Worthless! Do you use another app or something else to get notifications?

You can setup email notification everytime someone quotes you but not the best thing.
I search the web for other discussions, and everything I see looks like it does not. I am going to post a thread on androidforums.com in the nexus 4 selection. I usually try that after macrumors because macrumors gets more views.

Is there a way to do the email notification across the board. Is there somewhere on the forum where I can just make it a setting that every time anyone ever quoted me I get a email? Or do I have to set that up for every thread I post on?
The option was requested last year but no news about it, i know i had working by just selecting the nofifications email over tapatalk (it actually works that way on my nexus 4).
The emails did not come from MR.
Ive sent a PM to a mod to see who whe should talk to so they consider the option, hell they do it for subscribed threads etc why not have the option for quotes if vbulletin supports it.

I would be so pissed.
But on the bright side, there is a problem with my current Nexus 4 so I will need to do another replacement. Since this next one will be my 5th Nexus 4, maybe they can do something special for me. Or I could just try and get a refund and then pay for the difference myself.
Eh. I'll still be switching over to the GS4 I think. The camera on the Nexus 4 is the deal breaker for me. I have the 16GB N4 and I'm nowhere near my storage limit and LTE isn't available in my area. It's just that the camera is **** and I wouldn't mind using my upgrade on a phone with some better features.
The N4 is a good phone, just not a great phone.
Hard to trust that source ... Rumours generate traffic.
I would like it if the next nexus is made by Sony, like you said the camera is at fault and a Sony one would be boom!
This seems like the most likely thing to happen. I am not sure why people are getting so bent out of shape about them not releasing the nexus 5. What made people think that was going to happen? Google in the past has had an event at the end of the year and release the phone at about the same time. I just can believe people thought they would release the nexus 5. Now the xphone or whatever they are going to call it could very well happen, but I am pretty sure it will be a carrier phone, so who really cares. It want have stock android, so I will pass.
Plus with the battery life already as bad as it is, this will just make it worse.
So, is there any consensus as to 4.2.2 battery life? I can't decide if I have a faulty battery since I am usually only able to achieve 2 hours of screen on time with about 10-11 hours off the charger before the phone is dead. Sigh... I really like the N4, but the battery and camera stink.
My battery is pretty good with 4.2.2, but I also did not have the phone before 4.2.2.
I am on the latest nightly build of the Franco kernel and battery life is a little better. Overall it is still rather poor though.
What do you consider poor? I am getting around 14 hours battery life. With about 3 1/2 hours of screen time
What I consider poor is a 2100 mAh battery not being able to beat out my iPhone 4S with a 1400 mAh battery. What you mentioned is about the same ballpark of what I am getting.
