Early impressions say the speaker is a bit low. I agree, if they are loud, I could live with it being mono.

That's a shame, don't get me wrong the N4 speaker is still more then loud enough and has never been a real issue but some extra volume would be a great addition if possible.

EDIT: Here is a quote from XDA from a person that already has the N5 "Slightly louder than the N4 the sound is much cleaner though."

My guess is Best Buy will sell it for Sprint and T-Mobile. I doubt they'll sell it for $349 unless T-Mobile prices theirs at $349. Sprint pricing will be $449.

I'm just speculating and I may be wrong, but that is what I expect will happen.
Best Buy doesnt sell phones for T-mobile except for a pay as you go style which is always a low end phone. Thats it.
I have no doubt Best Buy will sell the N5 for the same price as the playstore and T-Mobile will probably be as you said, $449. They sold the N4 for more money than the playstore did.

Best Buy sold the Nexus 4 for T-Mobile for the normal T-Mobile price. They didn't carry it in store, at least locally for me, but it was available on the website.

Not even an Xtreme guard rear protector?

BTW, I owe you a big thank you for turning me onto their wares--love the back protector on my One, so much that I've ordered some for all of my gear (iPhone, Nexus 7, iPads). And if you need any now, there are some 80% off coupons available to go with their free shipping.

Thanks for the heads up I placed an order for my HTC and 5S.

I don't know about y'all, but if I'm getting the Nexus 5, I'm rocking it naked. Screen protector only.

I love the feeling of the soft matte plastic back.

I would get a nice soft case to put on it to be honest. It seriously increases the chance of survival drastically.

This is what I have on my galaxy nexus. It looks a lot better in person as well.

TMobile carried the N4 in their stores and still do and didnt have it at BB for them in my area. And where im at right now working BB doesnt have the N4 here either.
Looking at that link, i sure ope they dont inflate the N5 price.

Yes you will. Just pop the att sim in the new phone. Att does not need to do anything. Although you made need to let them know you have an LTE phone since the 4s does not have it.

Not exactly when I tried my 4S sim in my HTC One the data portion was not working finally once they changed iphone plan to Android plan it start working with some modifications to APN settings. The good news is you don't lose the unlimited data.

But can't you do that yourself by going into the network setting on the phone and reset it? That should do it automatically I think.

Just got an email that my 32GB N5 is on its way it was supposed to be Nov 8 date but kudos to Google for fast service :)

That's exactly what I did with the APN swtting, AT&T store employees and store manager was clueless so I googled and found the solution :)

According to UPS, I'll have my N5 on Tuesday. :D

FWIW, mine had "leaves warehouse by Nov 5" when I ordered - hopefully everyone else's will ship soon.

The only thing I find interesting about this phone or maybe android 4.4 is that hangouts is the new stock message app.

The camera for sure looks worse than competitors. And the 4.4 camera app looks exactly the same as 4.3.

New processor, but not 64bit.

Don't see any new features aside from inclusion of LTE, but I feel like this is far from overdue - Nexus 4 should of had this.

Overall I get a meh feeling after watching/reading about the Nexus 5.
