Omg would y'all shut up already

I think this is best, I'm tired of being right hehe  We can all take this to PM's if we feel strongly about it. My PM is open if anyone wants to continue this discussion, otherwise lets get back to the N5 and stop cluttering up this thread.

Mine still says shipping Nov 8, I'm jealous of you guys that had Nov 8 ship dates and had them ship out already.

Agreed!! I came to that conclusion after talking it out with myself a few posts up lol

Also, buying from Google Play will give you much better support if anything goes wrong. Had a similar situation with my Nexus 7. Something happened and since I bought from Best Buy, I had to send it into ASUS and wait 2-3 weeks for a new one. Returned it and bought one from Google. Now replacements are sent before I have to send in the broken one. Much better.

You have your response. If this continues to PM, it is your turn to respond to what I said. My PM is open and I will patiently await a message from you. But I won't hold my breath.

Lol give it a rest, my replies and discussion are there for you to read and if you need clarification just PM me as I said. I won't repeat my response a 10th time, sorry, I'll repeat it for you in a PM though. It's time for us to step aside and declutter this thread.

I just realized that the back image for the Sprint Nexus 5 is the one evleaks leaked. So, that's where it was from! That one had been bugging me, haha.

Still waiting on your PM ;)

Haha so I am just supposed to sit back while you say something bad about me to other people? Not going to happen.

Yes. On the open Internet.

Alright buddy. Just an FYI I am not the only one that feels this way about you.

Your point? I'm just saying... Who cares...be the bigger man, get back on topic...and enough with the page long posts

I am not talking badly about you on here. I am talking to people from MR on a hangout. Saying I am sick of you means nothing. That is my problem

Maybe you missed it, but I was clearly talking in response to how you have, on multiple occasions, made comments about me on here to other people.

But in your posts in response to other people, you always come back saying something bad about me to start another argument.

Ok, so you are going on the record as refusing to respond to my post which showed the problems and inconsistencies with your argument?

Nope, I'm going on the record as saying that your saying the N5 universally being an "average" upgrade did not apply to me. Just because you thought you found a fallacy in our definitions of "universally average versus huge upgrades" still doesn't change that what is a huge upgrade for me may not be one for you. As that being my main point I'll walk away satisfied, not right or wrong as I stated, but just having made my point, way too many times than is healthy though.

I am stepping away from cluttering up this thread before people start to hate on me as well. You are on ignore so I can't read your next reply or whatever that may be, this way the thread can get back on track. Make sure you type a lot in your next reply specifically so I can't read it, LOL. :p:p

To the crowd discussing 64 bit stuff, there is no point arguing for and against. You know why? Because Samsung is already getting their 64bit chips in the pipeline and all OEMS will follow suit. So 64 bit is here to stay and come in future models.

Now for the nexus, I looked at kitkat features and noted some of software enhancements are n5 only and not even applied by oems. Doesn't that tilt the balance in the n5 favor? A lot of new improvements seem to be overlooked simply because "oh the CPU is not earth shattering".

Hey look, the thread has posts REGARDING THE PHONE. Nice.

The camera looks pretty good, but I'm hoping we get some more in depth pictures in a review.

I'm so relieved that the camera seems decent
So am I. Had the N4 camera been decent (some don't mind it, but it seemed to consistently fail me when I really wanted the shots), I'd have been much less inclined to get the N5 to replace it.*

* Sure, sure, I'd have gotten the N5 anyway. But I'd have been less driven to do so!

Yup. If camera was decent enough, a nexus 4 for $250 is amazing deal.

That's a huge concern for me as well. Both the ip5s and the N5 cameras are 8mp right? With the N5 having OIS, but the ip5s not. I'm curious to see a more in depth comparison to see which one is better, especially in low light.

Agreed. Really, even without that camera, the N4 was an amazing deal at that price. I almost bought my parents one of the $199 ones (as they never tend to store anything on phones), but that would have required a whole new plan, which I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted.

I'd bet that the 5S handily beats the N5 in flash photography, with a draw in non-flash low-light due to OIS vs a better sensor.

Still, for half the cost, the fact the N5 is even in the race is making me very very happy.

Can anyone tell me how the LTE/GSM bands compare to the ones in the iPhone 5s? What countries would a 5s work in but the Nexus 5 wouldn't? Kind of a complicated thing to Google, but on first look it seems that the 5s has more bands.

Thanks!

I'm not one to comment as I don't have a good eye for differentiating between very small differences in picture quality, if lighting is good then most cameras I've played with seem to take similar quality pictures. The rub, I've always found, is in low light pictures, that's where I think I'd rather see bang for the buck. If the N5 takes better pics than the 5s in low light, or at least equivalent, I think I'll be pretty darn happy.
