Louisville, KY must be an awesome place because mine enjoyed hanging out there from Friday evening until the early AM hours this morning. Tuesday delivery looks likely at this point but that's ok; I need to help a friend sort some electrical issues at his house this evening anyway.

$845 though... it has to be cheaper to travel somewhere they're sold for less, spend a day as a tourist and then return with your new mobile.

Very very impressive numbers! What location was the test done? Is that speed normal for you area?

I ordered my N5 on Friday morning at 1:15am EST with shipping estimates of 3-4 weeks.

Guess what!!!! I just got shipping confirmation!!!

It seems like most of the phones ordered in the first few hours are on schedule to actually be delivered by the "leaves warehouse by" date.

My order is supposed to leave by Nov. 8. It should ship today and I expect delivery by Nov. 6 or Nov. 7

Wow, that looks great! They really stepped it up with the camera! What a huge jump from the Nexus 4.

Spent the morning with my shiny new Nexus 5. Not done everything yet but just some initial impressions:

- size/form is beautiful, weight is perfect
- the screen is excellent
- camera (coming from iPhone 5) is definitely comparable
- speaker is loud but not as clear as others, distorted at high volume
- Had to do an immediate update, and KitKat is lovely, smooth, zero lag
- the back of the phone is lovely to grip

Everything else is pretty much as is, nothing much else to report that's is wildly different from the other Android superphones.

Is there any light bleed on your screen? Mine seems to have a bit on the top edge which makes it evident on a black background.

Yes there is a bit but only at a certain angle.

Would need to check that out when there's less ambient light (i.e. tonight!).

Hmm, my UPS tracking still says only a shipping label has been created. It is slated to ship by Nov 8. I'm assuming this means the phone hasn't physically been collected by UPS yet?

I was debating this too a few pages back. Since google is shipping things early lets hope 3-4 weeks is not accurate. Also, we are thinking best buy will have an up charge and if you have warranty issues people have pointed out that it's much better dealing with Google than LG/Best Buy.

Hmm - I'm not convinced BBY will upcharge the Nexus phones....

Still, if we think it'll be longer before they pop up in stores than the 3-4 week timeline, I guess I'll go ahead and order one.

EDIT: Ordered 9:26 am 11/4/13 - let's see how long this takes!

correct. UPS still has to pick it up. Mine went out for delivery at 6:30am

Mine Just arrived in homeland of New Jersey! Maybe I will get it a day early!

Planning on doing some in depth review/ first impression videos. Testing battery and camera and such. Will post here!

I would like someone with a N5 to plug it into their car through aux and tell me how loud the aux out is on the phone. This was one thing I hated about the N4. It was so quiet compared to my iPhone.

The camera portion of the review is a bit concerning, but it sounds like they're fixable with an update.

What lemon? It's got top of the line specs equal or better to other flagships. If you are going to cry it is a lemon because of battery life then the iphone 5s must REALLY be a lemon.
