It isn't the thickness that is the problem. I've been carrying around a flip phone that is more than twice as thick as the Nexus 5 and it doesn't bother me. But the corners of the Nexus 5 poke into my leg when I'm walking or sitting, and I'm afraid that the pressure being put onto the Nexus 5 when I'm sitting could cause the screen to crack. The only thing that would help is if I started wearing baggy pants, but I'm not changing my clothing for the phone.

I don't blame you there haha. How do you pocket your phone? I put mine upside down the the screen facing my leg and haven't felt a poke yet.

This is exactly how I felt with my Note 2, but the Nexus 5 is way too small to put a dent into my hip. Still, you can't beat the ip5s for pocketability. I miss the small size sometimes as well, it's a constant struggle to want a small p hone but a large screen, hopefully foldable screens come out soon.

Just flipped thru Dynamic, Movie and Professional Photo (which, considering the N3's camera, must mean a photo from a different device lol.)

No big difference....the N5 loses regardless. Murky is as murky does. It's just not very good unless you have low expectations.

Well, I'm sorry but if you really don't see the substantial difference between the display settings on the Note 3, I'm not going to worry too much about the N5 display being murky. :D

And honestly, mocking the Note 3 camera hardly boosts your credibility either.

The more I use the screen the more I like it. That stock orange/blue wallpaper really pops and pleases the eye for some reason.

The only bummer physically is the back is kinda cheap, I already have areas where the plastic is damaged slightly and I've only used it one day. It's solid, but that plastic is just very soft. I am just waiting for my back and front protectors to get here.

My Spigen screen protectors got in today. I hate them. It totally kills the smooth feel of the Gorilla Glass 3. Didn't even have it on for more than 60 seconds before I threw it in the trash. Luckily it was only a few bucks on Amazon. But I definitely do not plan to buy anymore screen protectors.

Should've given it a little more time. There was probably still a bit of residue from the outer film that you peeled off when you installed.

Even if that is the case, a plastic screen protector will never feel as good as Gorilla Glass 3.

Edit: It also attracts finger prints more than the glass of the Nexus 5.

Just got a Zagg HD put on my 5S after rolling naked for 5 days. It sucks. Real glass feels so much better.

I look forward to the day when someone makes 99% scratch proof glass so I never have to use a screen protector again.

As much as I dislike the feel of screen protectors, I despise screen scratches even more.

I bought it straight from the Play Store, not sure I can return it to them so will probably sell it on eBay.

I'd actually consider a straight swap though so might see if anyone on the Marketplace wants to do it.

I'm LOVING the Nexus 5, it's just a couple of little things which I use all the time, hence are big things to me.

eh. you can absolutely return the device. you have 2 weeks from the date you received it. go to the help section of the play store for info. you'll have to email them about getting a return slip to print out though. you may get more money from ebay though since the device is hard to come by right now.

I hope Google starts selling their Nexus 5 cases on the Play Store here in Canada soon.
Normally I go for black or gray for a phone case but for some reason I like the look of the red.

Well I have spent the last 45 minutes toying with my new baby. First impressions are positive. I love the way it fits in the hand. Feels nice. The screen looks great. Everything is extremely smooth and snappy. Thus far, ,y only complaint is one side of my screen does not feel as flush with the bezel as the other. Maybe it's just my ocd but a little imperfection. I suppose no point to worry since there is bound to be something with each phone. If anyone has any questions I have been using the Note II for almost a year. Both with touch wiz and stock roms! :D

None of my MMS's will send through Hangouts. Anyone else having this problem?

No. Have you tried downloading a 3rd party messaging app to see if it works? (Textra is the best 3rd party messaging app)

Well, this is the 2nd day in a row getting 6 hours of screen on time and more than enough time on battery for a full day at work.
