Alright first you started the argument about the back button with Couch and others.
I stated the inconsistencies. Go back, even he admitted to the back button being inconsistent. Here you are twisting things again.
Then you argued with me about screw ups in nexus phones.
Yes, I said the Nexus 4 has screw ups. Even more recently on this thread there has been discussion of the Nexus 4 problem with wireless charging and wakelocks. It has problems. I was right. You were wrong.
Then you started arguing about Siri and Google now,
I stated my opinion on the issues with Google Now. In the alternatives section there is even a whole thread dedicated to this issue where others mention the issues with Google Now. I am clearly not alone.
and made at least one other person mad.
Since when is me pointing out the issues in a software program something for people to get mad about? Most people involved in that discussion where in agreement: Google Now has problems. One other person just didn't agree with the rest. Then you jumped in just for the sake of arguing with me.
All I did was speculate about battery life. You are the one making it a big deal and saying I start arguments with everyone when that is not true. You just enjoy twisting reality.
That would be be 4 that I have seen. So no I am not arguing for the sake of arguing.
Explained above.
Power optimization does come from skins. I said that I agreed. I said power management from android not skins. Google has changed the way android handles power management over the years. No that is not optimization, but I don't care about that. I am strictly talking about anything that helps battery life.
Then we can agree that you agreed that I was right and then you tried to change the topic.
Screen size I told yes that I agree the screen is the biggest battery drain. Again you choose not see that. I also said the screen is not the only thing that drains battery, but again all you say is the screen is the biggest.
Wrong. The screen is not "all" I talk about.
The screen is typically the biggest power drain. Heck with some usage the LTE radio might even come second before the CPU. The fact is, you shouldn't be banking on great battery life just because it has a more efficient CPU. The CPU takes up a fraction of power compared to the screen in normal usage.
All you are going to say over and over is that the screen is big so it will take up power, and it want be any good. Sure what ever you want to say.
Never said it won't be any good. All I have said is I am skeptical. Multiple people have also chimed in and voiced their skepticism.
You also missed what I suggested as good enough battery, but again that seems to be the theme with you.
I didn't miss it. You just failed to define "good enough." And with no definition as to what that means to you, there is no point talking about it until you define it.
I am not sure there is anything left to say.
Don't worry. You always seem to find something.
You have been really rude which is nothing different from what you have been doing all along.
Shall I pull up quotes of you using personal attacks?
I have pointed out 4 times that you were the cause of the argument,
1. Stated inconsistencies
2. Nexus 4 has issues
3. Google Now has issues
4. 2300 mAh battery + Snapdragon 800 does not automatically mean good battery life
Looks like all that really happened is me stating either facts (1-3) or skepticism with battery life (4) and other people jumped the gun and decided to make it into an argument.
so sire you can hold a conversation with others, but any argument on this theme you are in the middle of it. I am not sure how else to put it.
Yes, I am involved in discussions on battery life because that is an area of interest. So sue me.
