The Nexus 4 had an 8MP camera and it was awful... I don't understand why LG would put a very good to decent camera in the G2 and then go backward on Google's flagship device.

In all seriousness, though, after all this is said and done and the dust settles, I hope Google reveals whether all these leaks (starting with that first video that Google published themselves) were intentional. Maybe some viral-esque marketing, where they simply took advantage of the leaky nature of the business, and purposely leaked varying but plausible information to keep people guessing. It sure kept us guessing.
Probably not true, ultimately, but that'd be impressive.
