so stinkadelphia is trying to make a show with their convict lineup in football now eh? hmmm ok we'll see :D

Exactly.

I am keeping an open mind for a Dallas win vs the Saints..... We should win against the Redskins and Eagles... We should. Big Should.... but this is December and hopefully, another BIG hopefully we can pull it together. If we can win just one playoff game... JUST ONE!!! :D

If we don't beat the Redskins, it's over, since we'll probably lose to the Eagles as well. If we lose all three of the remaining games, then something needs to change.

Also, I don't like Romo taking snaps for the kicker. It didn't help in the last game, and I don't think he needs the worry.

Dude
You never know Mike Vick could be on your team next year:p

If Vick ends up on either Bay Area team, I will write off that team. If he goes to the 49ers, I will go with the Cardinals in the NFC.

If he goes to the Raiders, then I will root for Denver or San Diego in the AFC.

I wouldn't put it past JJ signing him for the Cowboys!

How did you like it when we in SF got rid of TO and sent him to you?

Actually, as far as receivers go, he didn't do badly in Dallas, but neither did our beloved Sanders or Haley who went on to get blue rings after their red rings.

How about this, we give you A. Smith and you can give us Romo, the highest rated active QB (95.4) in the NFL today, and second highest rated QB in NFL history (behind Steve Young's career 96.8)? Or if not that, I can use a Romo right now to be a long term Oakland Raider. However, tonight's win was kind of nice, but it's the type of win that happens only every now and then. SF could pull off an upset and then totally blow it for the next week or two.

I think the St. Louis rumors are interesting.

Vick to St. Louis? McNabb to St. Louis???

Sucks to be Kolb in all of this. You'd think he has leprosy for the amount of press he gets.

It will be a really interesting offseason. I just hope the Eagles give it a decent run this year. With the Flyers imploding, the Phillies losing in the Series, we could use a nice run for the Eagles. But as has been mentioned, we know how NFC championships go.

I will say this, if the Eagles make it to the NFC championship game and lose to Dallas or the Giants or something, I will vomit blood.

Dallas has to win in December first. I doubt the Eagles get out of the first round anyways.

^It'll be a miracle if either the Giants or Cowboys make it the playoffs and if they do, they won't advance very far.

Philadelphia teams are in the habit of granting miracles. I thought for sure they'd be the ones who gave Brodeur the record for shutouts.

The Eagles are just inconsistent. They let the Raiders beat them with a stick. So you can never tell which team will show up from week to week.

Martin Brodeur = God, it's that simple.

Alas, they are still better than the Giants or Cowboys

WHAT, SERIOUSLY! I haven't heard any of that talk. Please give more info on the rumors you are hearing. Why would the Eagles get rid of McNabb? I mean sure he's getting older but he's still effective. The way Kolb has filled in he has the possibility of being a solid starter if given the opportunity. I could see them dealing Vick while his perceived value is still high. The Eagles took the media hit in being the team that brought him back and he has showed improvement. That makes him attractive as it's still up in the air as to what the future holds.

I saw something the other day where they were saying that they've got Kolb riding the pine, and he's not going to do that for long.

The thought was that If McNabb isn't going to stop playing any time soon, then they're wasting his talent since he could start for a dozen teams in the NFL. But if McNabb has a limited run left in him, it'd be better to offload him for a series of picks and get Kolb on track for the next 5 years.

Vick was pretty much a foregone conclusion that he'd be leaving in the offseason. There's a pile of money out there for him in the right place. There are teams that need to reverse the season ticket losses, and he'd put some butts in the seats.

Personally, I like McNabb. I would like to see him retire an Eagle. Kolb, I could go either way. Vick? Same thing.

If the Eagles choke again, now that Reid's locked up the contract, McNabb would be the next logical one to get chopped. I don't see Vick as a starter in Philly unless they dumped McNabb and Kolb, and took the draft picks to prep a new "next big thing" quarterback.

Would love to get Cowher. Or Pete Carroll.

Carroll, maybe, but Cowher says no to coaching. He's very happy where he is at.

There has always been talk of John Elway coaching and even intriguing possibilities about working with SF. After the Broncos, many of the Bay Area people who were scared of him like him. He's the only non Niner on commercials in Northern California. But in all that talk, we got Singletary which was a good move though he's only at 12-11.
