how old are you? 16?
lol
thinks growing up has something to do with a colour scheme..................

A lot of people say the same thing. I've heard conversations from people at work asking if they stole the color palette from Windows 8 or Babies R Us lol. Not sure which is worse. But I have to agree the color palette chosen is pretty childish looking.

All that's going to hurt is the Apple Developer's trying to make money on their Apps, it's NOT going to hurt Apple, a Muti-Billion Dollar Company one darn bit. Also us Apple users Hate the Fragmentation that Android has so why would we want it ourselfs?

Unless you jail break. I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S4 with CM 10.1.3 Custom ROM and TWRP Custom Recovery in addition to all of the Apple Devices that I own. I will eventually upgrade to CM 10.2 once it's more stable (right now it's nightly builds only).

Settings > General > Accessibility > Bold Text = ON

problem fixed.

Not even close. If you have the option off the typography is too fine for lots of people, if you have it on everything's too bold and it frankly looks hideous.

Apple know that typography is important. It's a very intricate subject. Apple seem to have delivered a system that is either too thin or too bold for a large number of their users, which shows that they've just got it wrong on this occasion.

Also people saying "you chose this" (as in the first few posts) are wrong. You couldn't make an informed choice because you couldn't get a good sense of the new OS without updating.

It's like me sitting in a mansion, asking you teasingly "want a new house?", then when you say yeah it turns out that I'm giving you a shed in the middle of woods.

That said, from a technical perspective rolling back is totally out of the question. What about all the security holes that were fixed (you know, the stuff we can't really see)? What about all the new frameworks that Apps are going to be built to depend on? They want everybody making Apps using these new iOS7 frameworks, so they need as many people as possible to be on it. More people clamouring on to iOS6 will just split the platform and turn it in to Android.

The solution, IMO, is for Apple to listen more. They can't be stubborn and refuse to alter their design direction in the face of such widespread criticism (and it clearly is widespread), if they want to create a mainstream platform.

I think we'll see an iOS 7.5 update around January which will address a lot of these design issues. It won't add new features; that will be saved for iOS8, but they will feel a need to remedy these issues before they cut off another boatload of iOS devices from support.

IMO, the true solution would be for Apple to give us more customization options. If we could make some tweaks, I'm sure more people would be happy with the newer iOS. Unfortunatelly Apple is too stuborn for that.

I could see a black/white theme option, but that's as big as it's going to get customisation-wise. Even then, I'm not sure if it would be a user-settable choice or automatically set to match the device colour.

This very amusing (for me) thread needs bumping... It's been relegated to the bottom of the second page, it's not good enough for starting any kind of movement.....

I think OP's movement is starting to pick up... NOT.

iPhone 5s Tops Sales Charts at Major U.S. Carriers as iPhone 5c and Galaxy S4 Battle for Second

They are already voting with their $'s..... Check the link...

THANKS FOR BUMPING THE THREAD TO THE FRONT PAGE.....

Lol... Shows its just a matter of perspective... Nice try CB... And nice try to twist it...

A year old phone with a new shell is competing with a 4 month old S4... The 5S is the undisputed winner anyways... So I doubt your perspective holds much water... You can keep trying though.. good luck...

I can't read all of this thread, too many irrelevant posts.

I don't understand the problem. When I had my iPhone 3G, iOS 4 was so d*** laggy, I went back to iOS 3. Can't the OP just connect to iTunes, put his phone in DFU mode and option/alt click "Restore" and restore to iOS 6.1.3?

I don't care for right or wrong perspective…. just care for 'the movement'…. any kind… just some little tremor will do…. a ripple, anything….

At the moment, the only movement I am feeling is the one I have every morning…..

Well, if you'd bothered to read all the 'irrelevant' posts you'd know that it isn't possible to roll back the OS anymore.

Ok, well, maybe I'm forgetting something I had to do back then, that was a long time ago...I didn't jailbreak it, but, maybe there was something special I had to do to reset my Modem Firmware or something.

I too wish we could revert back to ios6 if we wanted

I like 7
But it doesnt compare to 6, its hard to compare a new OS to one thats been continuously updated for the past 6 years

Apple shold let us roll back, atleast to the previous version. Weak devices are pretty much bricked with some of their OS updates.

I have two first generation iPads that are barely usable due to iOS5 and my daughters iphone 4 is pretty much bricked due to iOS7.

When Apple pushes an update, one should be able to trust that they only allow that update on to devices that are poweful enough. As thats not the case, they need to allow people to downgrade rather than leave them with slow and unresponsive devices.

I have an iPad 2 and my son is using iPhone 4 with iOS 7. They are both working fine…. Both the iPad and iPhone 4 were not even a clean install, but still working fine..

I am sorry if your devices are bricked, but mine touchwood are running fine on iOS 7….

Im not looking for an apology from you. Nor from apple for that matter. The point is, you and I clearly dont have the same definition of "fine". And by the looks of this thread, a lot of people arent happy. Is a roll-back feature to much to ask? (well apparantly it is... shouldnt be though)
