No new iMac today

Hahahahaha all we have been doing the stupid! One more time everyting point that there's not gonna be another iMac this year....
 
I've got a bad feeling about this event. I'm afraid that there will be no iMac refresh today.

We have heard about the specs on the Mac Mimi and the 13 inch rMBP, but nothing on the iMac.

I can't imagine apple doing ANOTHER event in a month. this is huge effort from their side.
either it is announce today, or the train is gone for the year 2012.

Have to agree, probably they stumbled upon another idiotic manufacture problem,
it will be pushed to Jan 2013.. ( I can't believe it.. really .. I am waiting a ****** year!!!)

I'm suddenly not confident simply because everything (including the Mac Mini) has been leaked in terms of their relative specifications - apart from the iMac. It changes everything.

At this point, due to lack of leaked photos and specs, I fear we might get a "here's what's coming Spring of 2013" speech.:mad:
 
I'm guessing that they are just going to wait for the retina iMacs to be ready. If Apple is pushing high res screens on all of their laptops it doesn't make much sense for them to offer a new iMac without them.

Personally, I think the retina screens are a gimmick, and i wish we could have had a nice spec bump months ago. I've been waiting a year.
 
Everybody's freaking out but is it really that unlikely that Apple have just kept the leaks to a minimum and the iMac will be released after keeping the secret close to them until now?

If we don't see iMacs today, I feel I might just go Hackintosh. This is unacceptable in my view, we've been waiting for a long time now and still nothing.

Maybe It's due to the retina display, but in my opinion It's not worth it, especially since not all applications can take advantage of it..
