Airpods Pro rolled out without an event, so it's possible the 16" may come out the same way at some point. I'm seeing more and more "rumours" of it launching imminently.

Hope springs eternal, They may or may not but people here do seem to be doing a fair amount of logical backbends to continue to hope that we'll see one in 2019

for the 16" I do not think there will be a release this year.... I have heard for months on end...
