I should clarify, the duplicate notifications isn't a bug, I just have them on there once with the notified plug in an once with lockinfo. Would prefer to only have lockinfo. I know I could just shut the lockinfo plugin off, and just may do that when te grip update is released, but the notification plugin is ugly on top of the otherwise uniform lockinfo.

That new version of the grip plugin is nice.

EDIT. Does anyone have a set of icons that they used with the plugin to make the correct app icon pop up with the notificAtion? Could I have em if you do?

I use iFile on my iPhone and copy/paste the image file from the app's folder into the Notified Pro app folder.
 
This app is killing me. On the one hand I love it. On the other I have 3 major issues with it.

1) I lose Calendar Notification sounds. I can get them back by allowing the Apple popups but nothing when blocking. This is a major issue as I have appt reminders I need to hear.

2) No voicemail logging. I get the alert sound but the app will not log these. Missed calls are fine. Anyone else having this isssue?

3) Finally I use iRealSMS and the app does not work with Quickreply. I know this one is common knowledge as it does not work with Bite either. I just have come to the conclusion I am using iReal as my notification. I cant live without QR. I would be really nice to have it work like Lockinfo though.

I am thinking about going back to Lockinfo. I really prefer NP but Lockinfo performs right now. Hopefully 1.5 fixes all of these issues. I have submitted bug reports with no updates, questions or additions to the wiki. I follow the app and the 2 devs on twitter and get no responses. Its only a $2.99 app so I don't expect much from them in the way of customer service but if they do this right with the Statusbar Icons, this app will take off and make them a mint. Hope they step up a little more.
 
FYI, just got a tweet reply from David Ashman of Lockinfo. He is adding statusbar icons to Lockinfo in the next release. Headed back that way for sure now. Hopefully this gets better over time and I can come back.

This is going to be great -- especially because he will integrate it with Weathericon. FYI -- he tweeted looking for someone to create the status bar icons.

Haver you noticed a battery drain issue? I haven't done any scientific testing, but either notified pro or one of the notification plug ins (or both) are impacting my battery significantly.
 
Anyone try the updated Grip notification? I'm not seeing anything in the Settings app nor am I getting any notifications.

He cam implement anytime. He already has the Notification statusbar icon working. He just needs the icons in retina display quality. I hope someone gets them to him quick. I converted back to Lockinfo last night and realized just how much better it is than what I was using.

I never had any battery issues but I only used the Statusbar notification. I never used grip or notification bar.

thats a bug, new version is submitted by the developer and should be available soon, version 1.0.0.2

on twitter he also provided location .deb file that you can install manually if you cannot wait

i installed manually, had some issues initially but seems to be working fine now.

but the settings options is very good. loving it so far, apart from the initial crashes.
 
Alright someone send him the retina icons for lockinfo..

Just copy the look of the ones they are planning to use for Notified Pro.. Seems like they will never release it anyways so might as well someone make use of them.

Me neither. I'm still very very confused about this Notified Pro app. In the settings of the app, there's a selection called Animations. What the hell does this animate? Cuz I'm seeing precisely squat with this app except the log.

I haven't disabled it, so I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think it refers to animations for the log that you can access by doubletapping the status bar (or whatever you changed it to in Activator).
 
I got the updated deb from twitter for notifications grip. If you are not willing to wait for it to go to cydia, make sure you completely uninstall the plugin before installing the update. I ssh'd in and changed permissions myself with the original deb to the point where I could get it to show up in settings, but still wasn't getting notifications. Didn't work completely until I uninstalled, downloaded the deb with safari download manager, uninstalled the plugin via cydia, rebooted, installed the updated deb with ifile, and finally rebooted again. After all of those escapades, it is a quite solid update. You can move the notifications to the top and resize them. They changed the ugly "x" to something more native looking. All I need now is an option to hide them in the lock screen..or even better, a lockinfo plugin that displayed them in the set of info rather than on top of it, and this will be perfect.
 
Was really interested in this tweak but after reading up and watching some video reviews of Notified Pro, think I'll just stick with LockInfo Infoshade.
 
I do seem to like infoshade better at the moment, but Notified Pro is pretty cool. I purchased based on the future release of the status bar notifications. Now that LockInfo plans to have them too, It's going to be nice to have options. I REALLY like the prospective Notified Pro icons in the status bar. The different ones for text, FB, mail, etc...

Here's to great Devs and great packages.
 
Anyone else using notification grip 1.1.0.2 getting safe mode crashes every time a notification is dismissed?

No crash, but I am getting a bug where after so many notifications pile up the home button will no longer exit an app until I respring. It's software, because double click still brings up the multitasking bar. Anyone know a preference I could edit or something to remedy this? I really like these notifications, but having to respring every few hours is going to be a dealbreaker.

Haven't heard of that, but it seems that there are quite a few bugs to be worked out. I think I'm going to stick with Lockinfo/infoshade for now -- especially since David is adding statusbar icons. Still glad I paid the $2.99 for Notified Pro, maybe it will be worth checking out again after they get the kinks worked out.
