I think I figured out the locking up issue with Notified Pro. Works perfectly after uninstalling backgrounder. I can't use it at all if backgrounder is installed. I even set Backgrounder to turn off for Notified Pro and it doesn't make a difference, it still locks up. The two apps just do not appear to be compatible.

I would love to use both, but I gotta say...I use backgrounder far more than I get notifications.

Filing a bug on this.

Wow... wtf are these guys doing seriously..

They said 1.5 would have statusbar icons..

Are you serious? This app has had as many updates as any jailbreak app in recent memory.

If you're so anxious, maybe you should have a whack at it

You are correct sir. Lol updates because stuff is constantly broken...

We'll see how long it takes for statusbar icons they have been talking about that before the release of this APP.

Lockinfo seemed to have gotten that implementation pretty darn quick didn't take nearly as much of a hype about it.

^ what he said. I haven't had Notified very long, but the main reason I paid for it was because statusbar icons were coming. If I would have waited, I could have saved myself a couple of bucks since LockInfo implemented the feature and I had already paid for it.

Wow, impatient group of folks we got here, I guess :D

Hasn't Lockinfo been around quite a while longer than NotifiedPro? And don't we all recall the same long-ass threads when Lockinfo came out with oodles and oodles of errors, glitches and problems?

Anywho...carry on!:p

Yea.. lock info has been around for ages. So no, it has not been even remotely quick.

And unless I am missing something, the first post in this thread is announcing the release of notified on "Aug 4, 2010, 10:47 PM"

Today is Sept 21, 2010.

So esadb - come back in a full year, THEN complain that statusbar icons haven't come out fast enough.

Not to mention:

"Who We Are: We are two guys working on this app in
our spare time in between school and work." - From the notified app website.

Quick question...

I have LockInfo, so I'd rather not have notifications pop up when I get them...I'd rather have them all in that one place. Is there an option in LockInfo for this, or do I need Notified?

Focusing more on iOS4 support, Notified 1.5 will install libstatusbar for the statusbar icons to work.

Hey guys, sorry if this issue has already been discussed:

Does anybody have a problem with the statusbar after using Notified Pro and then opening an app like Google? I've found that after opening/closing Notified Pro, and then opening/closing an app like Google (though this issue isn't limited to Google) the statusbar on the springboard is suddenly gray. I need to open/close Notified Pro to get it back to normal.

Any thoughts?

I've noticed this. I originally thought it was notified too but I can get it to do that even without notified installed with the soundhound app so I can only assume it's an iOS bug.

And on that note...RT @d_waldron: Getting closer to this great update to @NotifiedApp! http://bit.ly/9xAB1S

We can't answer everyones bug reports, and or questions. If it is brought up numerous times by numerous people then we try to tweet it out.

Really? I do have that problem with SoundHound as well (just like with the Google app), but the problem goes away when I uninstall Notified Pro.

In fact, even with Notified Pro installed, the problem does not occur until I open/close Notify Pro for the first time after a respring.

So, I'm about 99% sure that it's a Notified Pro issue of some kind. I'll try reinstalling it again. If that doesn't work, does anybody know where the gray statusbar is located via SSH? Maybe I can just remove it ... but it doesn't seem to be in the Applications/Notified folder.

Hmmm I'm not sure why mine still persisted even without Notified installed. I don't think that grey bar is present anywhere, it seems like a visual bug. It's not too big of a deal for me as it rarely happens if I don't use soundhound, and it takes a quick swipe to get rid of it, but it is still annoying.

What I find more irritating is the problem with Notified notifications slowly making their way up the screen with each notification is still present and it takes a phone reboot to fix.
