The exclamation mark has been there, possibly since the first version released. It signifies that Notified "captured" some kind of popup notification, and is a placeholder until they get the full set finished and released.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure it was in there since the first version. I believe turning off the Badge setting in Notified's settings will both disable this as well as the badge on the actual Notified app icon.

I just started using the latest ver of NotifiedPro and the exclamation mark appears whenever I have notifications I haven't viewed from the drop-down pane.

One odd thing I've noticed about the exclamation mark... I usually close the pane by pressing the home button. This returns me to wherever I was before dropping the pane. But, when the exclamation mark is lit while I'm in an app, I have to press the home button twice to exit the app. It's almost like NotifiedPro thinks the pane is down and the 1st home button press closes the non-existent pane and 2nd press closes the app I'm in. Took me awhile to connect the two. I'm not sweatin it now that I know, but I hope it gets fixed.

Just noticed the gray side bar when in landscape mode.

Can't pin it to NotifiedPro just yet, but I'm at 76% already and have only had the phone off the charger 2.5 hours. Only a few calls, little browsing, and 25 minutes of iPod. Seems like an awful lot of drain and had the same thing yesterday.

Am I the only one? Might have to delete it if this persists.

I was jailbroken and had god awful battery life. 7 days in a row, I would use it for an hour or so - checking email, reading twitter, etc etc. From 9am, when i took it off the charger, to 4pm, it was down to less than 5%, and dead over the 15 minute commute home.

I had notified, as well as bite sms, winterboard (not running a theme, just lock ms), sbssettings and a few other small apps. The drain didnt start immediately after having notified, but it wasn't too far away.

Either way, I had terrible battery life and something with the JB was the cause.

Now that I upgraded to 4.1 and left the jb behind, I have 70%+ by 4pm, with slightly heavier usage and I dont charge it every night anymore.

Battery life + JB is a tricky thing.

It definitely is. But I have biteSMS, SBSettings, infinifolders, a ton of other things... But the battery hasn't dropped this fast before Notified was installed.

Which freakin' sucks because I really enjoy it.

NotifiedPro never caused any battery life problems for me, but I also only had the barebones jailbreak tweaks installed, SBSettings, 3GU, Activator, Infinifolders, Infinidock and NotifiedPro. That was it. Not even Backgrounder or ProSwitcher or Kirikae or anything like that.

everyone is waiting for you to work on it... as it is part time work, u will work for free, right?

Why should he work on it? When someone took the role of the "Developer" and their actually making money of this APP that's getting somewhat delayed in their most "bragged" about update..

Their lacking big time..

I've got a lot of JB apps and tweaks, but haven't noticed that my battery drain is worse than usual.

Besides Notified Pro, I have SBSettings, BiteSMS, Winterboard, Backgrounder, SwitcherPlus, Action Menu (w/Plus Pack), WeatherIcon, LockInfo, Elert, Cyntact, MultiIconMover, MxTube, Navigate From Maps, Remove Recents, and of course any dependencies such as Activator, LibWeather, etc.

Everything is normal so far as my battery is concerned.

A - He is saying ti because Che Castro thought the app should be free since they are doing it in their spare time.

B - You are the most impatient person I have seen on these forums.

Do you develop apps? Do you code? Have you ever even made an application? Let alone do it in your spare time?

These things aren't like hitting a button that says "add notification icons". They take time and you need to chill.

You complained that lock info got their already - well lock info has been out for a whole year / notified has been out for a month. it's 2 developers working in their spare time

It'll be out when they finish. Until then, stop complaining that they are too slow because you couldnt do a better job.

Notified has been out for a month.

Quit your damn complaining. it's 2 developers working IN THEIR SPARE TIME.

Haha I need to chill out? You sure?? ^.

LockInfo is 1 developer.. Its been out for a year correct. How long were these status bar icons out for? Like a week or two.

So you relax.

Wow... wtf are these guys doing seriously..

They said 1.5 would have statusbar icons..

We'll see how long it takes for statusbar icons they have been talking about that before the release of this APP.

Lockinfo seemed to have gotten that implementation pretty darn quick didn't take nearly as much of a hype about it.

Everyone on this thread is waiting for those icons and you already have them???

"How long were these status bar icons out for? Like a week or two." - what is that even supposed to mean? that lockinfo had them for 2 weeks already? or notified's developer design the icons 2 weeks ago and its not ready? ...

So let me say it again - you need to wait.

You don't know what its like to develop anything on this scale, but you still can sit there and say "they arent working hard enough" "theyre slacking" "they promised this before it was released"

It has been a single month since it came out. if you are such a lockinfo jockey, then go get lockinfo and enjoy your statusbar icons. then you can irritate them with complaining that a feature isnt done fast enough for you.

programs have problems. this is not his full time job, its a hobby. get a clue.

and yes you need to calm down. every other post from you is "when is it coming?!!!!! I just posted this 20 seconds ago and its still nt out!!!!"

"Can't the developers see that the lack of statusbar icons is tearing everyone apart?!"

They must not care *tear*

Wait the status icons are out!!!

EDIT: nevermind.

Maybe they're out now !!

EDIT: still not.

Man, they're slacking. I just check 30 seconds ago and it's still not updated.

Sheesh

Those of you that think you are owed notification icons because you bought the app are being silly. You were never promised anything. What you paid for is what was available at the time. If lockinfo does what you need than use/pay for that. Notified has promise but let's not forget that it's very young and they have limited resources/time. You should be grateful they are spending their free time to develop an app that offers something Apple won't give us. All they ask is a measly $3. I'm sure you've spent more on fart apps and games that aren't even on your device anymore.

You must be the only one on the planet because that is completely unreasonable :) I have most of those running (not all) and my battery life is A LOT worse.

I would never let go of that magic iPhone you have there
