Anybody using the plugin? Curious if there is something I need to setup..

There's nothing to set up. You just install it from Cydia. I wish it was a bit customizable though, I don't like it being at the bottom on the lockscreen

I don't think I've gotten a notification since I've installed it. Curious to see how it works. Thanks.

i have not installed this.. is it worth getting? i only use email and sms. i have bitesms so i dont know how well they play together and bite has the awesome tapable status bar icon so i dont know how useful a pull down menu will be. please share your thoughts.

If you only use sms and email then this is probably not for you. It doesn't do emails yet and I don't think it plays well with bitesms's quick reply.

It's odd actually. Every once in a while it will log an sms (with bitesms quick reply on), but it definitely does not log all of them. Is there a popup blocker built into the app or do we need to purchase popup blocker?

i think its the way that bitesms generates their quick reply pop up.. if you turn off pop up and have bitesms set a normal apple pop up (with bite still as your default sms program). notified pro still will pick up the text...

To use the new plug in once installed you have to do the following:

Open notified
tap the gear on the top right
tap manage alerts
tap the alert you looking to turn on the new plug in for
turn off show in lockscreen and show in springboard
that will turn off the built in notification and only use the new plug in.

I hope this helps.

Did this, and it does not disable the popups, at least for beejive it doesn't.

I haven't tested the pop up's with push notification but I know it works with calendar notifications.

I did a reboot and it is working now. Again, beejive is all I've gotten for notifications right now. Works great, but like said above, wish it didnt cover the slide to unlock..

I've noticed a bug with the plugin in where when i'm on the phone and I get a notification, sometimes i'll press the x button to close it and it'll end up moving onto the middle of the screen and won't be able to get rid of it until i respring. Has this occurred to anyone else as well?

I haven't seen this but you can submit a bug report at http://wiki.notifiedapp.com/wiki.php?n=Other.Bugs. I've had to submit a few showstoppers

Per their twitter:

They are looking into that issue and hopefully will have a fix later on.

Can somebody post when they get email notifications working on this. I have been using GRIP and I need my popup notifications. ;)

I'm really starting to like this, but I wish it would handle notifications (especially BiteSMS) a bit more consistently. With SMS for example, sometimes I get the quickreply window, sometimes I don't.

Still, it's going to be brilliant once they sort the bugs and add more plugins.

Its libstatusbar not libstatusbaricons.

Hmm, I loaded libstatusbar and am not seeing the status bar icon. Maybe my status bar is already full (I have signal strength, AT&T, 3G, Time, Location, Alarm, Bluetooth, Battery %, Battery icon).

I think they tweeted something earlier that indicated the status bar icon package was coming later today.

I'm getting the same 403 Forbidden error. I have some cracked repos in my source list, and when it first came out (1.0) I clicked on the first Notified I saw, which was the cracked one. It was buggy as hell anyways, so I uninstalled. Now, I downloaded regular Notified 3.0 from modmyi repo, and then tried downloading the notification bar, and I still get the 403 forbidden error. Any reason why?? How do I fix this?
