What in the hell are you talking about? Notified was never "left to rot" If you prefer Lockinfo, fine, but don't make things up about the project being abandoned.

Make sure that your settings are right in Notified. If it's not working then, contact the devs.

Must be something wrong with your phone because I tried each, even ran both simultaneously before deciding on just the status bar notifications, and I never had any problems (aside from a couple glitches early on that've been fixed in subsequent releases).
 
I noticed if I'm using notified pro and status bar notifier and a message comes in, it does not display a preview of the message on the status bar. It only seems to display if the phone is not being used? Is this a bug or is this how it should work?

I am using NotifiedPro, have the Statusbar Notifications for Notified installed, and they definitely display a preview of the message on the status bar, so you must have a problem.

What good would they be if they didn't show you a preview of the message? Do they just show up as a blank grey bar over your stock status bar?

wait, so you guys have a preview message display on the statusbar of either lockscreen/homescreen? mine just display an exclamation icon on the statusbar.

That looks like the upcoming plugin/update that is listed on the developer's planned features section.

"Statusbar icons for all the applications that support badges, that is, if your application is badged, it can have a statusbar icon, so if you have a badge in Things, a small checkmark will show on the statusbar, this is another way of notifications ;). "

Alright, those are what I'm waiting for. Notifier (not Notified) is getting less reliable.

That should be coming really soon guys. I just asked Daniel about those icons yesterday. :)

Okay, I read the thread but still don't understand how you disable the standard notification bar to get a preview msg on your status bar. I donwloaded Statusbar Notifications by Emilio P. What do I need to change in SBSettings? Can someone post a step-by-step please?

Huh? There's nothing you need to change in SBSettings. Can you explain what you're asking, exactly?

I'm getting the blank "infoshade" with notifiedpro

I set notified to an action over activator and it jus sits with the spinning circle

Yup

After a little tinkering I got it to work- but it's still delayed

I'm using tlert as well and the update doesn't show in notifiedpro until a few seconds after I reply/close
 
I've never used tlert, but I haven't noticed any delays with any notifications in NotifiedPro.

You should e-mail the NotifiedPro devs and/or Tlert devs. Sounds like a problem with Tlert, though, considering no other apps appear to have that problem.
 
My PUSH notifications are just not consistent..

I dont know am i the only one having issues with facebook/foursquare PUSH but they just dont seem to work.

Facebook especially it only comes through whenever it feels like...
 
Facebook push notifications are hit-or-miss without Notified installed. I've been noticing that for the past year.

I don't use Foursquare, so can't comment there.
