for example, i only want these screens to display:
infoshade - calendar

but my infoshade will display every plugin i have enabled.

I am running the latest one too, It bugged for me too a couple of times after one of the plugins updated (I don't remember which), but all I did was to go back into the settings, disable the visibility (all of them) re-spring and go back and re enable (only the one I wanted) and that did it for me. never had a issue after that.

so you resprung 1 plugin at a time after enabling visibility? that sucks. haha. i guess i will give that a try.

The only thing I noticed was that if you disable all stock notifications through Notified, some of your stock alert sounds seem to go too. In other words, I left my calendar alerts alone because I wasn't getting the alert sound to let me know of an upcoming appointment. Just something to keep in mind until that's fixed.

Just for the records I was talking about Infosahde, no Notified (that's what polobreaka asked)
 
just purchased notified pro. It's sweet when combined with statusbar notification. Hope they add email and calls.

dang it, its not working for me. i disabled everything, respring, then enabled calendar for infoshade, then enabled htc plugin for lockscreen. respring, infoshade shows htc plugin and calendar. while lockscreen only shows htc plugin.

this is annoying.

then it could be some other App, or plugin messing with you, I remember having that issue after an install but as i said it went away after I did that. I got it running on a 3GS as well and it runs fine.
 
Contemplating between notified and lockinfo..

Basically i want something with minimal battery impact.

Since my battery seems to be a bit shoody as is.

I can't vouch for Notified, but LockInfo is pretty good on the battery. I'm very picky with anything running in MobileSubstrate too.

I've had both, and they're both great for different reasons. Lockinfo is wonderful with aggregating all sorts of info. Notified lists notifications including every type of push/local notification without needing plugins. So while they're similare in some respects, they're different depending on your needs. They're both very light on the battery.
 
I own Lockinfo and NotifiedPro. It depends on what you are looking for. In my case, I found that I used Lockinfo mainly to have a quick glance at who just emailed me or texted me. I loved customizing the Lockscreen and enjoyed weather, etc. It is very light on the battery and not really an issue. Overall though I had alot of bugs and issues with it since I have moved to iOS 4. It works very well but not flawlessly and requires resprings more than I like.

Notified has been great so far. It feels like it is a much lighter program overall. I was able to uninstall Lockinfo, Notifier and Popup Blocker. I kept David's Weather Icon though. I installed all the native app icons and love it. Once we get mail and a solution for the quickreply features on Bite or iRealSMS, it will be great. I would imagine they will keep tweaking the app and hopefully offer some innovative plugins.
 
Is this working with emails yet?

I am about to buy elert... but I have been waiting for this to work with emails. Don't care about SMS or anything else. Just need email.

Not yet but an update with email support is expected in a day or two.
 
When is the statusbar notifications coming for this?

Cause im torn have this installed its nice.. But no point in really knowing whats going on unless you know if you have something.

Does lock info have something like a status bar notification if you use InfoShade?

No it doesn't. Sounds like the devs of notified are pushing out releases fairly quickly so hopefully all email/SMS/status bar icon issues will be ironed out in the next week or so!

I'm not sure what you mean. If you install "Statusbar Notifications for Notified", they work just fine for me. Then you can disable stock notifications in Notified's settings and you're all set.

Someone posted the sample of what their statusbar icons are going to looks like, basically revamped and redone for retina display.

I'd take that over the glitchy Notified project that was left to rot for the 5th time.

I installed Statusbar notifications and also notifications..

Nothing was showing for me in the statusbar..

Am i installing the wrong thing here?
 
There's some confusion here. There are two different replacement notification plugins available so far, one called notification bars which pop up at the bottom of the screen and one called status bar notifications that slide in and over the status bar area. They can even be used simultaneously. The third one, I believe, will be status bar icons, and they're not out yet.
