My phone is still in Incheon. Now Apple also says they'll deliver on 11/6, not sure when they changed but last time I checked they had 11/8, while UPS always had 11/6 for delivery.

Yes, I see the same on the Apple website. Was 8th now it says 6th. Now, if only UPS would do things on the tracking site to make me feel more confident in that date.

I don't want to sound optimistic just for the sake of being optimistic, but my experience is typical of many here: One phone last got an arrival in Korea over a day ago, the other phone got an arrival in Alaska and clearance completed, also over a day ago.

With several UPS flights involved, to me it seems unlikely that both of my phones (and several of others here) would just be sitting in one place without any movement. The more likely conclusion is the UPS system is screwed up, either missed scans, database screw-ups, or website problems, or some combination of all of the above. So most likely there has been movement, but not visible to us. My best guess is still Monday until I see some movement that indicates otherwise.

I’d be amazed if the 6th happens at this point. I’m working from home on the 7th because I had planned to pick up my phone from the UPS store by my house that morning... if they miss 6th then that means no phone for me until the 8th. Huge PITA considering I could’ve gone to an Apple Store this morning and signed up for IUP had I not already done so.

I feel like I’m getting dinged for preordering and doing things “the right way” through the app. Annoyed.

Flight just freakin left for ANC and my phone is STILL in ICN

Unless Tim Cook flies it in his private jet, UPS just drove the last nail in the coffin of delivering on their promised nov 6 time.

The incompetence of UPS completely astounds me!!!

Ups sucks

My trade in kit arrived today, looks like they have no problem delivering ahead of schedule on those. Any one knows when next flight is?

Thanks for pointing that out -- my Apple order nows shows 11/6 delivery, too.

I've always received my UPS packages when they said they would arrive. This is the first time I've ever had problems with tracking information, but I am betting on some kind of glitch. Let's just hope it's confined to tracking details and not the shipments themselves!

For the flight that just left Korea, you need to give it some time before you can be absolutely sure it wasn’t on that plane. For instance, mine was on the plane yesterday heading to Anchorage (where it’s still sitting right now grrrrrr....) but I didn’t see the scan on the tracking for around two hours after it took off. It took off at around 8:30am yesterday central time and I didn’t get the scan come through for me until a little after 10:30am. So it’s possible your phones are on that flight.

I've experienced several missed scans recently on domestic shipments, so I would not be surprised if that was part of a problem during several very busy days.

I think it may be taking a while for the scans to reach the UPS systems. My other phone (wife's) does not show departure scan yet.

guys got departure scan:

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 11/05/2017 7:05 A.M. Departure Scan
Dammit!!!!!!! I HATE UPS!!!!!! Mine still sitting for the *****THIRD***** day in Korea.

The gross incompetence of UPS is simply astounding

Either UPS is having gravely serious problems with getting boxes on planes (neglected to bribe some customs official, perhaps?), or their reporting system is bogged down with the deluge of launch weekend iPhone orders. I don't suspect that BOTH of these situations are true, and since their delivery estimate is still Monday 11/6, I'm choosing to go with the latter scenario.

My AT&T shipment was picked up in Fort Worth today at noon (UPS). No movement since, but I'm sure that is normal. It says delivery is expected before 3PM on Monday.

For those of us who have been stuck in Anchorage for the last day or so, check your tracking. I have a departure scan for 2:56pm which I believe places my phone on UPS51 which took off about 25 minutes ago. Hopefully everyone else is seeing the same thing. Should land a little before midnight central time.

Oh and it’s back to saying Monday delivery. :)
