I'm just curious if there is anything in the same size class that could actually be considered an upgrade from an iPhone 5/5s. The trend overall is toward bigger phones, and while I think there are some small Android phones they aren't generally "flagship" phones.

The Sony Z1 Compact was the best I could find. It's a bit bigger than the 5/5S, but the size is still ok. I haven't seen much else in the way of actually small phones, most of the android compact versions are still 4.5" or more.

Unless someone was literally saying 'I hate big phones' up until the day of the release and then bought the 6 or 6+ anyway, they're not necessarily a hypocrite. I used to be against bigger phones but I just changed my mind over time - I've been ready for a bigger phone for about six months now. :)

I am one. Never thought I would like the 6 Plus like I do. Still surprised actually but there's no going back.

I always wished that the iPhone would have a bigger screen. And now I have the iPhone 6 Plus. But honestly Apple is too late (better late than never) to release a big screened iPhone and ceded a large part of the market to Samsung and others.

But the thing is NFC is heavily used around the world. In Asia its more ubiquitous than cash.

So it.really isnt anything new.[/QUOTE]

LIE

Yeah, I find that extremely hard to believe. I lived in Japan for many years, and while they've had systems for paying with their phones in place for a long time, it's certainly not anywhere near as ubiquitous as cash.

Not me, I don't get the 6+ craze but apparently a lot of people really wanted BIG!

The 6 is good, if somewhat just a bit too big already. 6+ is just humungous! :p

Women's clothing is different, I think, but every single pair of pants I own can easily accommodate the 6 Plus. Unless you wear nothing but skinny hipster jeans, you should probably be okay.
