Well my case iPhone leather case just shipped lol Guess I can carry it around and look cool lol. I checked my support page just now, thank you for the link. I don't guess mine is anywhere near ready to ship unfortunately.
 
I apparently have a hold on my account for AppleCare+ (and I ordered through Apple), but not the tax portion of the Plus I bought on the Next plan.
 
This may have already been mentioned, but I'm pretty sure we're the 2nd Group (after 9/19) from the Apple purchasers.

I'm hoping that means once they sort out the 9/19's (which it seems they're nearly done doing) they'll start bumping us up. With all the cancellations, multi-orders by accident, etc, etc, I'm betting they have a good amount of inventory available for our group.

Honestly, I'd be pretty surprised if these orders took until Oct 1-6. I bet they arrive sooner.

I originally predicted we'll receive our phones by the final week of September. That it would never get into October. Going to keep to that prediction.

However, I don't think they have a "good amount" of inventory. Unless you're referencing the 6. For the 6 Plus, even with numerous cancellations, I don't think they'll have that many. Still hoping they arrive early. I'm taking a lady friend out to a concert on the 27th. First thing she said to me Friday morning was, "I want to see your new phone!" So hopefully I'll get mine on the 26th ;) It's fun having a close friend who loves her iPhone as much as I do mine.

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat. Flying out of state for a wedding on 9/26. If they bump it up, I hope it's earlier than that Friday, haha. :cool:

Hoping this as well, I do think we're in that "second wave" of orders also. I also saw a LOT of posts of those who did receive the Reservation #, the email a few hours later and the link didn't work for them, came up "Cannot locate number" - they were on hold with Apple with no answers, they gave up and the reservation ended up expiring. Not sure what happened there, I got that reservation email also and the order went through.

Glitchy process, I had my issues at 3, 3:15am...felt like i was trying to win some crazy sweepstakes landing this phone, but MAYBE this helps our orders to ship earlier than expected. I don't expect any new updates tonight..hoping tomorrow, Tues., Wed. ours we'll finally get shipped. We'll see our new phones by the 22nd, 23rd. THAT would make me happy.

I ordered at 1:10am pacific and got Oct13-22 shipping but today I checked and my ship date changed to Oct2-13. Hopefully it gets here sooner then that.

I received 2 or 3 reservation emails. None of which worked. And honestly, by the time I got them, I already made my preorder. Also, it was so glitchy, two of the reservations were for a 6 Plus 16GB in Space Grey. Not at all the 64GB Plus in Gold that I was trying to buy all along.
 
I've never been so eager for someone to take $420 out of my account... I realllllly hope we all get pulled into the preparing for shipment group soon. This wait is agonizing!
 
I wish I was getting the phone this Friday but there's no way I'm going to risk my Oct 1-6 delivery to stand in line . Besides it says pick up is unavailable at the nearby Atlanta Apple locations
 
Has anyone seen delivery dates quoted Sep 22-Sep 30? I haven't, and if we (Oct 1-Oct 6 delivery) are the first delivery group post 9/19 launch delivery, we'd probably get bumped to hopefully deliver a week early in the Sep 22-26 range. Thoughts?
 
I pre ordered 2 128GB iPhone 6 Plus's, Gold and Space Gray from Apple Store App around 3:30am EST and got 7-10 day, Oct 1 - 6 Delivery.

I just called apple customer service and the guy said he can't do anything about the arrival date but he can upgrade my shipping for free to NEXT DAY SHIPPING. So when ever it does ship, it gets there quicker.

Doing so changed my Delivery date from Oct 1-6 to Sept 29-Oct 2nd

Its not much, but I really did appreciate even this much. I wasn't expecting anything, but really polite really helped

Rumors are that they're doing this for everyone but not advertising it so they have something to appease customers upset by the shipping times.

I have no confirmation of that; I'm calling Apple support right now to see if I can get mine changed to overnight myself.


This person must have talked to a compassionate agent as the person I JUST got off the phone with stated the shipping is standard and I would have to pay for express, but it is not available for my order because of the demand.

I hate the inconsistencies of call center reps...

How long were you on hold before talking to someone? I'm currently at 40 minutes and wondering how much longer it'll be.
