My phone has a delivery date of 9/25 (Phenix City AL) and is on the same flight as yours. I wonder how UPS/APPLE decided which phones are delivered early week and which phones are delivered late week.

Mine departed zhengzhou at 1:45 and arrived in Shanghai the next day. Your phone probably just wasn't scanned in Shanghai.

According to his post he's in the same boat as us. Unless he's just read the thread and is repeating times, but seems correct...

I may have been mistaken. My page updated now to Exception with an additional note next to Louisville. I had the address changed, so perhaps it isn't in Louisville... Just the change was processed in Louisville. I don't know anymore... But the delivery date was changed from Thursday to Monday.

Louisville, KY, United States 09/21/2014 11:24 A.M. The receiver requested a temporary change to the delivery address.
Shanghai, China 09/21/2014 12:45 A.M. Arrival Scan

If you requested a change and your delivery date changed to Monday, expect it to change again once it reaches the States.

IOW, you're not getting it tomorrow.

DAMN! I'm part of the 12:45am Shanghai crew and looks like I'm still touring Asia.

Order status page on apple has been down for hours. dont know if this effects our orders but just putting it out there

Right now, I am going to believe that the iPhone in Louisville and not still partying in Shanghai. I suspect my shipping status won't change anytime soon due to the volume of packages to be scanned and accounts to be updated. I wouldn't be surprised to see tomorrow morning that shipping status went from sitting in Shanghai to being on the truck for delivery.... UPS has done this to me before...

I don't expect to get it tomorrow. i just need it to not arrive on the east coast, when i travel back to the west coast tomorrow.

But when I made the post, it didn't say anything other than what I originally posted. my tracking was updated a couple minutes later to add the exception and add that additional text, making me think it was in Louisville...

Well i just woke up recently. I guess us 12:45 am Shanghai people's phones are still in China? That sucks . Disappointing

One phone getting missed while pallets are getting scanned in Louisville is believable; everyone's phones being missed is not. They're not there yet. They might be on their way, but to me it's starting to look more and more like those of us whose phones got popped for an enhanced pat-down will be heading to the States around the same time as those of you whose phones took a detour to Shanghai.

Exactly, I basically played dumb and asked what this $40 was all about, didn't see where this is stated in the contract, blah, blah. Also stated my displeasure with not even having the phone yet and getting hit with charge. Reversed it and said they were sorry.

I just called and got a lady that was sassy at first being all like well you've paid it in the past. Blah blah blah. So I was like well you also said it wasn't $40 in the past so it must've been snuck on my bill and it didn't notice it since I already pay you an arm and a leg each month. Then I went into how absurd it is that they "thank" me for committing to another 2 years of $100+ a month from me by charging me a $40 "activation" fee when my iPhone (that I paid top dollar for) activates itself. And how maybe I should go to US Cellular since they'll buy me out of my contract and they offer unlimited everything for $40 a month cheaper. I got the fee waived.

I very much doubt it is in China. Aside from my whole address change, my date still changed from Thursday to Monday. I doubt they changed it to Monday unless they knew it would be make it.

Obviously all bets are off for my phone, as they can use my address change as an excuse for taking a week longer, but for everyone else on the Shanghai 12:45am bus, I think it's safe to say they are in America.

But my delivery date is Thursday and still says Thursday :(
