I am also in the Shanghai 12:45 group. If it wasn't for y'all, I would be seriously paranoid right now.

I am still showing delivery tomorrow by end of day (I live in Atlanta) so fingers crossed!

Same situation as me but I'm in Los Angeles. My fingers are crossed too but I'm doubtful.

Wish mine was Tuesday. STILL 9/25.

Gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with UPS if it takes them 6 freaking days to get a phone from China to USA. I know they can do better than that.

Goes to show how UPS handles "expedited" shipping! One thing I learned, never use UPS for express shipping as they are slow as hell!!!

Yes, but you do realize that this is a million phones PLUS whatever packages they deliver normally. UPS can't just concentrate on Apple and ignore everybody else. They only have so many aircraft.

Yes and no. Remember AOL? They purchased CD production worldwide for a week or two. Outbound standard packages are being delayed, on one of the extra flights, or handled via other carriers (I'm sure Apple and UPS coordinated with the major manufacturers in China); UPS critical is still running as normal. Now stateside, yes, it's a huge volume increase, and that's actually where I'd expect to see delays because these are meeting up with domestic shipments. But not really a greater volume than the last minute Christmas shipping rush. These are 2 multi billion dollar companies who laid out a plan months ago.

Exactly!

So it should be better coordinated.

Seems pretty well coordinated to me. International shipping takes time. These weren't shipped international express or critical, and still have plenty of time to meet target. I, too, am a little baffled that my package hasn't (seemingly) moved out of China, but I do know it can still make it here on time.

My iPhone is one of the 12:45 am Shanghai iPhones. My delivery date is tomorrow By the end of the day in Los Angeles. Do you think it can still make it on time?

My phone has a delivery date of 9/25 (Phenix City AL) and is on the same flight as yours. I wonder how UPS/APPLE decided which phones are delivered early week and which phones are delivered late week.

I bet our phones are having a lot of fun sitting in ZhengZhou, must be lots to see.

I am still fully holding on the faith that my phone will arrive tomorrow as scheduled, and within the 2 hour window I chose. Sure, something could happen and it doesn't arrive. I'm super excited and waiting sucks. But I'd rather stay positive. If it doesn't happen, I'll shrug it off, rest assured it's still on the way, and come back here to entertain myself and pass the time. I am a phone junkie (own 2 flagships LG G3 and 5S) and I want my new toy, too.

My delivery date is 9/23 according to ups, but right now it doesn't show the date because I chose "hold for pick up"... I am part of the 7:10pm group lol...hopefully we get some update late tonight or maybe tomorrow.
Btw..the shipping I have is worldwide express saver

Oct. 1 to 6 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Shipping earlier!

Yep, I already got hit with the $40 upgrade fee! It's ok I called and got it reversed. Yay ATT!!

How'd you get it reversed? Just complained? Cause I plan to call and ask them what the hell. They should not penalize me for signing another 2 year CONTRACT with them. It's absurd and counterintuitive.

"Upgrade Fee" Meaning charging you to buy a new phone and resigning with them...makes no damn sense! Used to be $36 I had that waved 2 years ago when I upgraded from iPhone4 to 5..but that was in store, day one. I'm not paying $40 bucks this time either.

Exactly, I basically played dumb and asked what this $40 was all about, didn't see where this is stated in the contract, blah, blah. Also stated my displeasure with not even having the phone yet and getting hit with charge. Reversed it and said they were sorry.
