Since the reservation system apparently never held our "Delivery on 9/19" dates to checkout, and instead just fulfilled the orders, there's no way cancelled reservations would have moved us up.

Agreed. Does this mean we may see "preparing for shipment" as early as Thursday, Friday, or Saturday? If I recall, that status shows up three days before the device ships.
 
I just got the biggest letdown ever. I received a new email from UPS saying I had a new schedule delivery. I checked the weight and it was .5lbs, my damn case had gotten rescheduled.

Looks like I was too excited and didn't finish reading the email title, "New Scheduled Delivery Date". I completely missed the last word the first time I read it.
 
I got all excited for a quick second when I got an email from Apple just now, But it's about there Two-Step verification lol. Damn!

Anyone want to volunteer to take phone calls for some of us? I'd at least like to get a free case that was otherwise overpriced (but what accessory isn't nowadays from a name-brand company?). My first try the other day was a no-go. Not really sure how to ask for one.

AHH, Same here! I saw the bold APPLE in the email line and...oh well.

I had to do the 2 step verification 4 times, it wasn't accepting the 4 digit pin that was sent to my phone. Finally worked. LOL, probably 1000's on it at once doing the same thing.

DeJaVu...I was about to wait for a "Reservation #" so I can finish my 2 step process tomorrow morning. :rolleyes:
 
Only my iPhone 6 shows up for delivery on UPS My Choice by this Friday. My credit card has been charged as well.

My credit card hasn't even been charged yet for the iPhone 6+ that says estimated delivery date of Oct 1-6

Not looking good... at this point I hope I get it by October 1-3 so I can at least have all weekend with it.

This kind of scares me, from the "Shipped iPhone6 thread." Many have stated the phones are on the way. Some already in the US right now. Some claim the order is still "Processing." Some JUST leaving ZhengZhou, China - with no tracking number. Looks like all the 1st orders are coming from there right now.

Same for me (6 + 16GB Verizon). Thinking I may call Apple tomorrow just to check on things. Seems like 95% of people have either tracking info, their serial, or both.

Getting ahead of myself, when we get to the "shipped" process, and we do not get a tracking number. We can use the UPS/FedEx Reference Tool. Use the area code/phone number. Country where it will be shipped and the shipping zip code. This is supposed to work.

Man, I'm in the exact same boat (minus the 6). My CC still has the $1.00 pending charge and my 6+ is still processing, still isn't appearing on my support profile.

I get myself really excited when I remember that I ordered a 6+ and then get really aggravated when I see it still hasn't moved. It's an emotional roller-coaster.

Mine hasn't been charged yet either. Looking at the first thread I was in - before I found this. The 9/19 delivery date had the card charged about 12-18 hours after the order. Status went from Processing to "Preparing for Shipment" around Sunday afternoon into Sunday night...then Shipped. Once we see the "Preparing..." the card should be charged. Good sign then, means the phone will most likely ship in 36-48 hours.

Im HOPING that is, just going by the trend I saw this past weekend.

You can find it like that when preparing to ship, then you get the tracking number when it officially ships. Not sure what scares you.
 
Even though I have one coming Oct 1-6, I'm still gonna go to some T-Mobile stores near me this Friday morning and test my luck :)
 
Mine as well. I believe this is typical for pending charges that do not finalize after a few days. Today is the sixth day, for most of us, so it should disappear.
 
My $1.00 pending charge and my $107.17 AppleCare charge dropped, I'm assuming the worst.
