How do you explain those with 9/25 dates not moving when others are then. Huge coincidence?

I have seen a few people with 25 dates moved, but as you point out there are many who have not. First they would want to get those promised earlier, their packages first. I was promised today, then yesterday, then today and now tomorrow. Those with earlier dates also probably live close to major hubs. I am close to Newark which is an important hub. We will have to see, but I am sure they will want to clear everything out of the queue before the flights come in tonight from Alaska, so even if they prioritized others, now they have to get the rest out of the way or their will be no hope for the incoming batch.

I'm NJ but 25th ... don't even have an import scan yet ... find this ridiculous ... if it can be delivered earlier ... which it clearly can ... its should be ...

In any other circumstance it would....UPS is buckling under the load, and have intentionally set aside 9/25'ers to ensure that the people they already screwed over on 9/22, 9/23, and potentially 9/24 are getting their deliveries.

There is no other theory at this point. Data has proven. Phones on the same plane that landed/scanned in KY at 1:34 this morning (but had a 9/24 or earlier date) have all been imported and departed to their locations....while ALL 9/25 packages have been ignored (no exceptions).

Our resident UPS employee know it all suggested that they may be processed and shipped over night (I can't imagine why they wouldn't be). But at this point I think UPS is taking liberty with the 9/25 date and not in any hurry.

My domestic package due tomorrow is still sitting in KY, as well as my iPhone. If I see the domestic package leave before the iPhone, that's when I finally give up hope I will see the iPhone tomorrow.

I'm a 9/25er, so I won't be crying if it doesn't come tomorrow.

To close the loop on this, it left without my phone.

Newark, NJ, United States 09/23/2014 5:31 P.M. Arrival Scan

Finally, people with NJ as final delivery address, you should have an arrival scan soon.

I don't even have a Departure Scan :(

Last update I have:

Louisville, KY, United States 09/23/2014 12:30 P.M. Import Scan

Scheduled delivery is tomorrow..

I think they're taunting those of us that still have a Thursday delivery.

Not only are we going to fly it right over your head in a few hours, but we're also going to park it in Kentucky until Tuesday evening, and then let it sit at the Seattle airport all day Wednesday until we finally put it on a truck Thursday morning.

My post from yesterday is coming true!

Find me one person in this thread with a 9/25 date that has seen that move up, or for that matter, moved beyond an Import Scan in KY.

There are ZERO.

I fully accepted that this was the fault of U.S. customs earlier in the day. But I admit, the length of time this has gone on does make me wonder. Mine got into Louisville at 1:56 AM. As of right now it has still not seen an import scan. I guess somebody's got to be at the back of the line, so I can believe it would still be customs.

At the same time, this now requires believing that it has taken the entire day to scan this shipment of iPhones through customs, with some not even making it through. How is the entire facility not horrifically backlogged as a result (maybe it is?).

In the end, my shipment (which uses Expedited, not Saver -- through absolutely no choice of my own) was scheduled for 9/25 delivery all along, so I have no trouble believing it was deprioritized from the start. Despite the fact that I stayed up just as late as you all and paid the same amount of money. And that's really the only thing here that bothers me.

This will all be forgotten in a couple of days when these things finally arrive, though. :)

This whole experience is nothing but randomness. Apple load balanced their servers randomly so that different parts of the country couldn't get an order in as quick as others, orders that did get in seemed randomly assigned a processing order and UPS and/or Apple randomly assigned better shipping to different orders.

I can understand that . I just don't know why some people got better shipping dates. Eh it's just an extra day I guess but still. Even if I am stuck in Louisville till tomorrow, it's only a 45 minute flight to Atlanta . They would really have to hold it back if they were purposely waiting till Thursday

UPS does not want your phone! In fact I would bet that they want it out of the way just like any other package. When packages sit around they hold up everything else. The bulk of shipments leave Louisville in the middle of the night to regional hubs around the country. They will get it there as soon as they can.

It has been a frustrating experience for us all and we will all be glad to have our phones in our hands.

What do we have here? Another supposed UPS employee? Guess what, we don't need another so called UPS genius giving as false information like the other hacks.

I totally understand what you're saying in this post except for the last part.

I won't ever forget this. When I ship packages, I will now go out of my way to use Fedex. I've NEVER had anything similar to this happen with them and in an old job I used to ship 30-50 packages over night, 5 days a week.

UPS lost a customer today. Sure, with Apple shipments I may not have a choice, but I definitely do with all my other shipping needs.

How much would next day shipping from Asia to USA cost? On my next go round I think I'll call up Apple and request that. Tracking this stuff for a week is killing me.

Can someone explain this?

What I'm hoping is, that the flights coming tonight are for delivery dates after ours, and ours will be ahead of them.

Clearly, the automated conveyor belts set aside the 9/25. Given some earlier backlog, I don't have a problem with this. If our phones still sit there and Friday phones move first, then I will have an issue.

Anybody in this situation???

Louisville, KY, United States 09/23/2014 9:05 A.M. Arrival Scan

I'm EOD 9/25 headed to Maryland

Don't worry about that guy he has been trolling the entire time.

Yeah and if UPS read the crap their supposed employees where posting here, they'd be fired on the spot...

No I am not a UPS employee although I respect them. Why do you think UPS want to keep your phone? Do you think UPS is out to get you? Let's be logical here.

Tell you one thing.. if I don't get my delivery by 9/25 I'm calling Apple and raising holy hell. I will escalate my complaint as far as I can and then I will email every Apple executive I can. I will throw a loyal customer temper tantrum the likes of which they have never seen and rage/cry/moan/bitch until all the Apple decision makers know how unhappy I am with UPS.
