Mine says 1:30pm-5:30pm estimated delivery

Its almost 10am UPS is usually here by now in my area so im going with the 1:30-5:30

I understand your frustration. But lets face it. Unless you are willing to do the 8 hour line wait (even in tiny Buffalo NY after 5 days, the line is still there, with a half hour wait - assuming you can get the stock you want), you are going to preorder, just like the rest of us. Its still the most likely way to get a phone on launch day.

Haha, great response. All these phone calls accomplish what? Venting to some poor customer service rep making $9/hour? Give it a rest people. UPS and Apple customer service reps cannot do anything to change what has been already put in motion, your phone shipping.

Thanks again, just an odd string of email alerts, more like mindf--king (you'll get it the 24th, nope, the 25th, 24th..and then nothing. ).

It arrived at the local hub, I'll pick it up in a few hours! :D

Yeah it's extremely frustrating, it's the worst preorder experience I've ever had with Apple. I would gladly have made the 2hr drive to the closest Apple store to try to get one on the 19th, but my order was locked the day before.

I choose to call Apple to express my frustration with the preorder process. I wasn't expecting them to do anything. At this point there is nothing that can be done other than to wait until it is delivered. If we don't tell Apple that we are unhappy with how they are doing things, then things will never change.
 
9o'clock hour passes still no import scans...who gave up the 9am-3pm time frame for import scans anyway??? lol
 
Picked mine up this morning and my plus has a black speck of dust dead in the middle of the screen :mad:

I had the expedited shipping but mine still didn't clear till mid morning and missed the truck to my city. I do have it now. Good luck.

Calm down, seriously. It's a darn phone, many of us are waiting on them but they are simply phones. Get worked up with the major stuff in life if you must, but this is a consumer electronics device. It isn't a pacemaker or anything like that .. it will get here, sometimes it just takes time.

My wife told me last night "I would have rather you go and stand out in line than have you obsess over this shipping" - not that it would have been a guarantee... but I've also not seen too many people ordering phones in the Greenville area.

Maybe next time I want to get something at release, I will go stand out in line...

No, but it IS a $1000, easy steal-able piece of equipment that we would like to know what's happening with it.

It was REALLY slow yesterday too... weren't that many updates on the forums...

The scans will trickle in..

Where in all of that did you get that I need to calm down? I specifically stated that I kept my cool and was perfectly polite. Trust me, I am not worked up. I am understandable frustrated and disappointed in Apple. But I am perfectly calm.

The pre-order process =/= sitting in Louisville for 30 hours

Yes, and it's in the hands of a shipper right now. If it gets stolen, guess what, you get reimbursed for it and it is done quickly. I really think you just need to talk a deep breath and calm down... it's this way EVERY time, if you can't hack it just wait and buy it from the store a few weeks after launch.
