offically factory unlocked iphone 4s Order Status Thread (not the AT&T unlocked one)

in my case from saturday till monday, but the shipment was initiated the same day as the status changed to "preparing" and on monday it was sorted.

Mine stuck in Memphis:
Dec 7, 2011 11:16 PM Arrived at FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN :confused:
I called fedex and they opened the case. It seems there are some delays in Memphis.

Mine says it's still at Memphis. There was a Fedex flight at 04:12am, so I hope it got on that one.

It didn't got on that flight. I don't know where it's going.

It's heading San Antonio, TX, and should arrive at 6:30 PM. Then it will make its way to Laredo, TX. I hope the D-Day is tomorrow.

I ordered a 32 GB black on November 27th!
 
Mine appears to be taking the long way to the US going from China to HK, Taiwan, two stops in Japan, and now to the US. Estimated delivery is Tuesday, 13 December to SF.

Just got my replacement iPhone placed not he 28th delivered today, can't believe now this one has a vibration issue , where the vibration is so loud as if something is loose inside, don't want to go through the ordeal again for the third time, quality definitely going down.

You cant get a replacement at an Apple store?
I thought the process would swap out your factory unlocked iphone with another official unlocked 4s.
 
Well for the first replacement they told me to do it online. For the 2nd have set up a genius bar appointment, hope they have a phone available if not than the usual process again. The vibration is so bad that it literally rattles. Wonder just the white iPhones.
 
My shipment had delays. It was expected to arrive on Dec 8 but it's currently stuck at San Jose sort facility. I called FedEx and they said that it will arrive on Dec 9 1030AM. I hope that's true.

Mine will be here on December 14 th! (ordered on November 27th)

Thats nice I ordered on a 32GB Black on the 29th and the wait is killing me lol, its 10 days today so I hope it goes in to the preparing for shipment.
Just to clarify did you order on the 27 or 28th?
 
Nov 30 - Ordered replacement iPhone 4s
Dec 09 - Preparing for Shipment
Dec 09 - Shipped

Due for delivery Dec 15. Let's hope this one is a keeper.
 
Hadn't seen this mentioned yet, so apologies if it has been already, but I was in the SF store a few days ago and they have factory unlocked phones for sale in-store now. One of the reps said that they'd had them for 4-5 days already.

They were out of 16GB black, so I didn't get one, but they had a few other models in stock.
 
How do you get the iPhone 4s to display in the App store? And what time zone for 9 pm?

The difference between doing it on the app and on the site is: On the site there are 50/50% chances of getting "unable to connect server" or "we´re sorry..."
But if you do it on the apple store app it loads much faster and it won't be "unable to connect server".

This worked for me in Boston, after eight tries!.

Ordered two phones on November 28th:

16GB black - Shipped 6 Dec, delivered 9 December to SF
32GB white - Shows "Preparing for shipment" today
 
different return policy for unlocked iphone 4s?

did any one else notice this ...

on factory unlocked iphone 4s return says 14 days...
where as if you buy a AT&T iphone 4s (no contract) its 30 days ?

I just walked in and got the 16GB white today, factory unlocked :) No AT&T, no Sprint, and no Verizon :D


Unfortuneately, without a sim card, it won't get past the SIM activation screen :( I'm now stuck.:eek:

does your receipt says return date : 14 days from purchase ?
 
apparently fedex is offering my iphone a two-day tour around asia!!!!
im so freaking furious!!! after it left shenzhen, china, it went from hong kong to taiwan, to japan, then back to shanghai, CHINA again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


AHHH!!! why the frustration never ends................:mad:

you bought it on December 9th ... looks at the return date ..

it says December 23rd ! ... that's only 14 days !
