Guys, anybody ordered the iphone on 15/11 and status of the iphone has been changed to be "preparing for shipment"?

Nov 14th 16GB black still shows processing, i guess you have to wait

my theory is they might have stock but apple is matching delivery dates with ATT/Verizon/Sprint models so that people do not order the unlocked iPhones because of the faster shipping.

everything will change once supply meets demand.

My tracking info is identical to yours, right up through the shipment release at 9:17 Sunday morning.

Since then, there has been no Fedex scan activity.
Just sitting there in Memphis withan Estimated delivery Nov 25, 2011 by 4:30 PM.

Same here! Maybe ours are waiting for the flights tonight. Hopefully we can get it tomorrow.

I do have a nagging suspicion that we are going to see slow motion until the stated delivery date.
I have seen either on this or another Apple board, postings wherein the package was sitting at Fedex for two or three days with the notation "Not Due for Delivery".

My blood begins to boil just thinking about that possibility.

Just got mine

I ordered an unlocked iPhone 4S 64 gig black directly from the Apple website on Nov 11. I got an email the other day that said it had shipped and would be delivered on 11/28, but I got a knock at the door today and had a nice surprise... it arrived today on 11/21.

Anyone have advice on how to get a prepaid plan or a month to month plan? I travel internationally about half the year and don't want a contract plan here in the US.

It arrived today (11-20-2011) via FedEx. ;-)

Is there any special trick to activating the phone or may I simply insert my mini SIM from my ATT iphone 4??/

Are you guy's using your unlocked phones for t-mobile? If so, we should start a new thread about how to get facetime, imessage, and MMS working properly!

no need to activate, simply insert any GSM SIM Card, it should work, that is the purpose of factory unlocked iPhone 4S
