Yes, but the Super Suite deal comes with the Special Media Edition, which is an upgrade over the Home edition IF you have use for the media browser.

I just checked mine and it says it was mailed out on the 8th and should be delivered by the 18th. Haven't heard anything about Office 2008 either.

I sent the rebate form and documents about the same time for the $100 BFD deal (almost 6 weeks ago).
Will call back next week again unless I get some kind of update or confirmation.

I called Microsoft today because my Super Suite Deal order confirmation had a status of 'Issue with order'. I was able to get through right away and happily the guy confirmed that they had received my stuff to validate my order and that the issue was that Office 2008 was on backorder. He said it would probably be sometime around February 4th or after when it shipped. Although I'd like to get it sooner, it's good enough me at this point. I'm willing to wait knowing I got the Black Friday Deal.
Just checked my SSD status. Looks like mine will be shipping on 2/11, that's been pushed back if I remember correctly. Too bad.

Yet another reason why I hate MS. I got a "Requirements Not Met" on my status and I called them. I spoke with someone who sounded so overworked that they wanted to be dead (I actually felt sorry for them). They told me that the sale was only good for Office 2004 bought on 11/23/07 and they said that my purchase date was 11/26/07. It turns out that they were looking at the ship date, but they are still requiring proof. I wish I couldn't believe that MS could do this, but of course I can (that's one of the reasons I use a Mac in the first place). Wish me luck!

Nevermind, I see the link in the email that Microsoft sent after I placed the order. It takes you to a site where you have to sign in with your Windows Live ID.

I'm pretty disappointed that they're delaying shipment into March. Seems like they're giving their upgrade customers the lowest priority. I understand that we're technically getting the new version for free, but the only reason many of us bought 2004 in the first place was because of this offer. Microsoft could've been a bit more considerate about this.
I just called and spoke to someone, very nice. He said that shipments are in backorder status, that's what the Issue with order is (like the other post said).
He estimates anywhere from end of Jan to end of Feb to ship.
He said if there was an issue with the requirements (box top, receipts) it wouldn't say Issue with order, it would say something like Processing. Once it's moved out of the processing state, the order is good to go....once they get the product to ship that is.

That was the only manual I saw.
I got my rebate, now I'm hoping the upgrade goes smoothly.

Same here. Since I no longer have the front cover of the manual, what do I do?
I called them this morning the rep was very nice and said she would push it through, gave me a reference number and said I should receive a check within 3 weeks.

Yes I received the same email. Rather strange really since MS usually has more than enough software to fulfill initial demand, right after a launch. Not shipping it for a few weeks I can understand but for 7 weeks? Plainly strange.
