Yeah it's much better, even better the the beta..
Outlook is an epic fail with no GCAL and mobile me calender syncing.. UGH!!! Entourage had mobileme calendar syncing FFS!
Contacts sync fine if anyone cares..
Now we've got individuals with their hands on office 2011 why don't Microsoft just make it available on line to everyone right now rather than having to wait till next month?
That's a new interface that came about in v2007, but the core functionality has not changed since....maybe v5? (v2007 is really v12) Except for sort by color. Thanks, I was just checking.
Is that the final build? It's been a bug bear of mine with the beta but I had hoped full iCal sync for our idevices etc.. would be supported in the final version.
If thats not the case it's most certainly makes using the calendar feature of outlook a no-no for me at the moment.
Any information on the availability of the Academic edition?
There never was a Mac version of OneNote.Damn, they got rid of OneNote in the Mac version?![]()
Office Mac 2011 Already Available for Large AccountsThis may seem like a silly question, but how have some of you people got your hands on the retail version?
I never thought I would say this again: Good job Microsoft.
Some of the things I've discovered in Outlook I'm not sure how to fix (and would appreciate any suggestions)
- No automatic spell checker (fix manually or when you send it will go out with errors)
- Signature defaults to above quoted text so can get confusing when replying to a thread
- When changing a meeting in calendar, no option to just send update to added/deleted participants
- In the calendar, adding resources like conference rooms needs to be done one at a time rather than en-masse making it difficult if you are searching for a single open room out of 25 possibilities
I guess still no offline msgs in Messenger...?![]()
