Yankees are ****ed this weekend.
Red Sox have Schilling, Beckett, and Matsuzaka going, who have a combined ERA of 2.3, 57 strikeouts, and only 14 walks against them in 9 games (57 innings pitched). Opponents are batting .204 against them.

This thread is for Yankees Red Sox discussions. Can we get the Yankees and Red Sox fans a thread of their own?
YESSS NOO HHITTER, I WAS WATCHING ON TV, IT WAS GREAT, and they say buehrle is washed up
The only true perfect game left is 27 strike outs.
that depends. for pitchers like maddux, his perfect game would be on 27 pitches, one pitch, one out, which i would like to see. he likes to get you out on the least amount of pitches possible, and likes to conserve his pitches. notice how on the 300 win list, he's low on the strikeout list, with just over 3000? he didn't reach the 3000 K mark until about a year after 300 wins.
so a 27 k game wouldn't be the only real perfect game to every pitcher...
oh yeah, the espn hype machine will start up yankees vs. sox tonight, but i'll be watching mets and braves, the other new york vs. boston (used to be boston braves).
Check your standings again. Boston 1st Yankees 1 game behind.I actually think our game is more important, fighting for the top of the east, whereas the bosox and yanks are only fighting for second or third.
If anyone in this thread buys the god awful green uniforms the Sox are wearing tonight I will drive to you and kick your butt.
Let's stop this uniform foolishness. Don't buy green jerseys, etc. ...

Isn't it almost sacregligious for a red sox player to wear anything other then... red?
So Im looking at the standings and I notice that the NL central has 6 teams while the AL West has 4. There are 30 teams, so why isn't it an even 15 in each league.
Ok so as I stare further for no good reason I remember that they need an even number per league.
