So much news, Yankees won, A-rod hit his 29th homer. Red Sox lost.
Twins and Sox had an insanely high scoring game. 34 runs between them. And in the second game, managed to shut out the Sox 12-0.

Yankees took 2 of 3 from LA, giving them a 12-0 beating today. While the Red Sox got swept in Detroit, I will take 10 back at the all star break. Do I want to be closer, yes but at the moment I have to be able to live with where we are and hope the Red Sox struggles continue.Are you worried yet?

There was talk on our end, there was an article in the AJC (Atlanta Journal Constitution) as well as a mention on the braves site. It's known we need another starter, and he was the best on the (very slim) market.
At least we can lose 3 in a row and remain over .500.
Well give yourself a pat on the back. That is not what I was talking about. Losing 3 in a row is not something to just brush away.
That's the truth. It's an indicator that something's not right under the hood. STL has lost 3 in a row four times, 4 in a row once and 5 in a row once, this season. They may never see .500 ball this year.

Our closer (Bobby Wickman) hasn't been so hawt lately. Our setup guy needs to be moved to our closers role.
I know Padres always do that, they will make a comeback but never win it haha. Unless it is the dodgers =)

I think the fact that the All Star games decides home field advantage is cool. Gives it just a little bit more meaning.

Thanks for pointing out that the Yankees have lost 3 games, Captain. If you read my post, no where do I state "The Yankees have never lost 3 games in a row." Instead, I said "losing 3 games is not something to brush off." Which it seems like you did.
Heaven forbid I say something terrible about the "Godly" Red Sox. Get over it.
