I have updated twoodcc's spreadsheet and we are still 291 miles off pace. In all fairness, this compilation was done 8 AM EST (2 PM CET) so we will hopefully gain some extra miles today.
We would also like to thank ddollar alias rundanrun for joining us and thus adding 16.92 fresh miles to the challenge.

no problem i am really starting to enjoy running added another 3.5 miles yesterday

Sorry guys - didn't notice I was getting involved in this. My 1000 in 2008 challenge was open to the public - I'll take a look and see if there's anything I can do to broadcast to the members about the 25,000 challenge.

I think we have the Dr. to thank mainly for the catching up as he has logged about 100 miles in the last 2 weeks himself - Excellent work!

Due to reasons I don't care to talk about more, I have decided to withdraw from all the challenges. Nevertheless, I am absolutely sure you guys will make the 25,000 miles goal! :)

i'm very sorry to hear that. i hope things get better for you
 
All this talk about being behind is bothering me because I can't do much about it. :( Now that it is track season, I only can use it on Sundays (if I'm lucky then on Saturdays) until about mid-May (being only a sophomore, I have no chance of competing past the regular track season because of all the juniors/seniors that are faster than me :)). Then once I get to June when we meet as a Cross Country team again it will once again be hard to use it. I am thinking about getting that new thing that Nike just released so I could use the kit without a "huge" iPod on my arm. :cool:

just do what you can. maybe walk some in your spare time or to class or something?

yeah, get the sportsband. i'm going to get it also.

btw, how is track season going for you? mine hasn't been as well as i'd hoped

That's manageable. It means we're ~3 miles/day behind, or, put another way, on pace for ~23,800 miles for the year. We can make that up.

I am thinking about getting that new thing that Nike just released so I could use the kit without a "huge" iPod on my arm. :cool:

yeah, if you did that, you could run with the nike+ all the time (or at least whenever you can wear a watch).

I'm new at this, seriously, haven't even opened the box yet... i just got my nike+ account.... and im goign for a run in like 20 minutes....

see that's how skilled i am,, haha quick question tho, how come my name doesnt even come up in the leaderboard, or my runs, does it take a while to pop up or something?

thanks for joining. yes, the nike servers are kinda slow, so it takes some time before your miles will show up in the challenges
 
whoa my miles a day are lowwwwwwwwww,, but then again ijust started yesterday,, I'm going to try to get at least one and a bit a day...
 
My mileage is down a bit this year compared to last year as my coach has dropped one of my run sessions in favour of another bike session for the time being. Am still increasing mileage in comparison to the last couple of months though.
