SSBB is such a hit that there's no way that we would get it after Japan. Maybe the same time but not after. After all arent' they doing both at the same time anyway? Sonic had his English voice/all his other ones at the same time...

If there was going to be a as big or bigger delay for the US, don't you think they would have announced it?
Did nintendo word "Jan 24" as a delay or just the release date? If their a transcript?

There's (supposedly) a US conference tonight, they will probably confirm/deny there.

I hope that shot's not real. It means that most of the characters revealed on the Dojo are the unlockables, since there's only apparently 12 starting characters! On top of that, it looks there's only room for 24 characters; we've already had 22 revealed on the Dojo site, so that means we've seen most of the secrets

That has to be just a beta screen. We're WAY over 25 if you include all the characters from the old game. (like ganondorf and Luigi and Game&Watch.

Nobody says those characters are in it, though.

At best we could say that my eyes are deceiving me and maybe the icons are smaller than I think and you can fit two extra blocks on each row (one on each side), then we're up to 30 characters. Still, that means we've seen most of the secrets...

Then again maybe that's just a demo build. It makes no sense to me for Kirby, Zelda, and Ice Climbers to be secret characters. Especially since Kirby and the Pokemon trainer are on the cover of the box.

Also, what do you think that white box is? Is it a highlighted character (Kirby perhaps?) or perhaps Random?

course it's real, it's from the conference. It's just a demo version, no need to get your knickers in a twist.

Oh man, a delay that sucks so much ass. They really got my hopes up when they gave the Dec. 3rd release date so adamantly, or should I say when Reggie said it. I was plannin on playin this on winter break non-stop. Oh well. They need Megaman and Alucard, then i will forgive them for the delay.

In the US we'd term the date 02/10/08, rather than 10/02/08. Just different date naming schemes.

Them trailers look fantastic, the gameplay looks really refined and crisp. Lighting looks spectacular! Was that a bit of HDR going on with the Fox stage or just the camera?
