Official Smash Bros. Brawl Thread [SPOILERS!]

If Smash Bros. can give me cash back, then it'd be the best game ever!
Anyways, looking at the Wii Remote setup... well, I think I'm sticking with the GameCube controller.
I dunno about that, it looks like a viable option. Sure we're all going to prefer the GC option (investing in some GC controller extension cables ) but for new comers it might be kinda cool to use.
Anyways. I hope it's a sign that the DS might see some kind of Smash Bros game, even just a port of Melee would be so friggin incredible.

Why not just use a Wavebird?
That's the way I'm going WaveBird FTW! I have 3 currently. One's a little beat up but still good. I hope Nintendo makes more of these, maybe in a white version.
Rumble is for girls.
I've been using a Wavebird for so long that I've almost forgotten about it. I really don't care.
Also, the Classic controller has no rumble either.
Silly sexist...
I love rumble, but only when put in correct places. In a future zelda game, realistic rumble when you swing the sword whould be amazing.

Which is, as any true nerd knows, the only Sonic animated series ever worth a crap. Speaking of which, any Sonic fan who didn't buy the DVD re-release is teh suck.

And Robotnik should never be voiced by anyone except Jim Cummings of SatAM.

The SatAM Robotnik is definitely one of my favorite all-time villains.

Yup! Go buy the DVD, if enough people buy it they've said they've considered finishing the last couple episodes of the series.

Actually, that's one of the reasons that I don't mind Sonic being included. Robotnik might at least make a cameo in Adventure Mode.
Ahhh, so it is true. I vaguely remember watching a cliffhanger of the show, but it ended up being the last episode I ever saw, then it kinda seemed like it disappeared.

Graphically, a port of Melee isn't possible, though a port of the original Smash Bros is.
Actually, I would really like to see a well-done 2D Smash Bros game. IIRC In one of the 2D Kirby games there was a secret boss who if swallowed gave Kirby all the Smash Bros moves (up and B for cutter, down and B for rock, forward and B for hammer) and it worked very well in 2D.
Imagine a Smash Bros game with really well done 2D sprites and with a similar combat style. It's doable, especially on the DS.

Not such a fan of Megaman. Never played it as a kid so there's no rose tinted glasses for me, and I'm really not keen on the art style. Does seem like a logical rumour though.
Melee with lower quality textures and N64 style polygons could easily be done on the DS. Bit of trimming down with the FMVs and compress the voice some more and I reckon it could be done.

There's no solid rumor; the main basis is the fact that there are at least four musicians from Capcom working on Brawl, which makes it very likely there is a character from Capcom, and MegaMan is the most likely being one of the most iconic, longest-running franchises on Nintendo platforms.
So it's likely MegaMan will be in Brawl, but there's no solid evidence whatsoever to back it up.
I'm curious which MegaMan game you HAVE played. Each MegaMan series (original, X, Zero, Battle Network) has a totally different art style.
