Finally I can use my iPhone in Costa Rica.![]()
People need to understand that on 4.0.1, this uses a remote PDF exploit in Mobile Safari which is especially nasty.
can someone post instructions? The site does nothing for me.

Aren't we one step away from someone else being able to Jailbreak your phone against your will just by tricking you with a fake phishing website?
Could they perhap JB your phone and start doing who-knows-what and stealing your info before you really know what's going on?
I support the right of others to Jailbreak their own phones, but this sounds like a totally different direction to me.
iPad is different though..it instantly restarts when I "slide to jailbreak" then when I go back to safari it goes back to the webpage I was on right before I went to jailbreakme.com Weird!!
4.0.1 or whatever it is you know what i mean
That was not always the case. Carriers could "software lock" the phone to prevent you from installing anything that they didn't sign.windows mobile may not have the prettiest UI but at least it did not need to be hacked/jailbroken. you've paid for the hardware, you were able to install *whatever* you wished on YOUR device.
you meen u r just seeing the clouds after you swipe to jailbreak?
In these heady, cat-n-mouse days you shouldn't be so flip about a whole decimal pointpeople are likely to take you seriously![]()
Come visit me in Nicaragua![]()
Looking at the source, this seems to download a PDF that runs the actual unlock/jailbreak code.
Although essentially nothing new, the thought that it is 'that' easy to get root-access to an iPhone/iPad is a bit scary![]()
Sounds like the antenna problem is the least of Apple problem is this exploit gets in the hand of the regular spammers and similar evil minded...
I'm assuming hat when you visit the site on your iphone the slide is supposed to move to the right in order for the jailbreak to happen correct? If so, it's not moving.
