So do you have to be a paid member of ADC, or can free members get it aswell? I Get http unavailable when trying to open the iPhone Section.

So do you have to pay the $99 for the beta, or can you just download the SDK (which I've done) and get the beta? Because, I think I've signed up for the SDK, but just not paid the $99.

Thanks for any help!

Anyone have any insight on Apple's recommendation to create a seperate Apple ID for "business purposes?"

If I end up developing an app that I want to sell, what benefit does this give me? I kind of like having one apple ID, especially since the only way to change the ID on the phone is by syncing, unless that changes with 3.0

It doesn't say you can't talk about them, just not post screen shots, Etc...

Ehh..

disclosure of information relating to pre–release software
(including the posting of screen shots) may subject you to both civil and criminal liability and result in immediate termination of your iPhone Developer Program Membership.

Maybe it will be on torrents soon :)

You honestly think it will install on any phone? The other betas didn't. You need matching certs, etc.

Eventually the dev team will crack the firmware though. They always do, even betas.

Until Youtube is told by Apple to remove the video, and delete the Youtube account, and revoke the SDK license. Other than that, you are right, nobody will notice:rolleyes:
The video will be up long enough to be mirrored, and how will Apple even know which dev it was? You act like this didn't happen with 2.0?

Videotape and youtube that ****! :D
