I'd have to say the first girl, definitely. That's why I asked her out instead of the girl who keeps sending me flirtatious emails. I think the flirty girl is too desperate.

No problem, I can't afford it anyway. :)

LoL this has happened to me before.. well sorta.. it always seems that if you want one, and you ask her out or whatnot, then a freakin flurry of girls want you!

The solution, just keep asking them out! That way you get 100% attention 100% of the time! just keep them on a rotating schedule! :p

Seriously tho, congrats for getting that far! Just goes to show, no guts, no glory!

LOL, well, appearantly she didn't get that I was asking her out (I worded it a little cleverly, so as not to sound to cliché), so I had to ask her out A SECOND TIME! :rolleyes:This time I used the classic "will you go out with me?" This time there was no doubt that she understood me (a brick could've understood that), and now she's holding the answer until I go to the fashion show she's in.

Maybe it's just a test, if I go then I'm really serious about it, and if I don't then I'm not. Maybe she even understood all along and she wanted me to say it outright. Girls are so sneaky.

This is awesome mate, I bet you're over the moon with this whole situation :)

Hah, now I don't want this to sound harsh (as a backup this happened to me too) but do you feel like the ol' ¨ugly duckling¨? During school I had a couple of girlfriends but nothing special, then I discovered clothes, did some hair modelling, got contact lenses etc. I got into college and every friggin girl on the course had a crush on me at one point (well... there were only 4 girls on my course  ). I met Caroline and the rest is history, we've been together for 5 years this November.

She's in the same phase too. She was bullied in school and didn't really go out with other guys. Now she plays D&D with an army of guys who fancy her. I even a story one of them wrote about them being together, which really freaked me out actually...

Yea! Have fun now :)

hey G,

Good for you buddy.

keep us posted, BUT, as much as this kills me to say, DO NOT POST PICS OF HER WITHOUT HER PERMISSION.

your crush from grade 9 will be gone forever if you did something like that.

make sure you don't miss her fashion show and get a front seat too.

and, bring a single red rose too. you could give it to her after the show or keep in your car and hand it over then (ie. either bring her to the car or go back to the car and get it after the show - but tell her you forgot something in the car).

that would knock her socks off and let her know your sweet.

cheers,
keebler

id goto the fashion show then. do it do it.

In my best Rod Serling style,,,,

This is crazy. There's this girl at school who's totally hot, and totally an awesome person (those two don't always go together, as I have found out). She's like the girl who every guy in the school wants to go out with. Well, I just asked her out and she didn't reject me.

Firstly, I'm amazed that I was able to ask a girl out without the help of my friends here on MR, but also the fact that a computer nerd was able to ask the coolest girl in school out on a date, and not get totally shot down is amazing!

In other news, the universe has collapsed!

Edit: I should add that while she didn't say "yes", it seems like she's thinking it.

Respectfully submitted for your approval, a computer nerd who goes by the name of ghall. Today, he has done the impossible; he has asked an attractive young woman for a date, and she has accepted, with no apparent strings attached, in direct violation of every high school social rule that has ever been written. But, as ghall is soon to discover, this is no ordinary day, and this will be no ordinary date. As you will soon see, ghall has unknowingly crossed over into,, The Twilight Zone.

Couldn't resist. :D Seriously ghall, congrats, and good luck.

Lol, now I'm scared.

Anyway, so I can't seem to find out how to get tickets to the show and the girl apparently knows nothing about it. This is quite the predicament. I've been looking online and stuff, and it's like this pageant or fashion show or whatever doesn't even exist. Maybe I am in, The Twilight Zone!

well if you know where its going to be call them up, they will tell you how to get tickets, you got a phone book right? and a phone?

She doesn't know how to get tickets to her own show? Weird. It probably wouldn't be online.. Good luck.

hey Ghall,

maybe you can't find the fashion show b/c one doesn't exist.

not that she's lying, but maybe she has something private lined up for you :)

As her what time it's at and where. you'll find the rest i'm sure. just don't get upset if she doesn't know much so she doesn't think you believe her.

Cheers,
Keebler

That thought had crossed my mind, but why would she go through all the trouble of making an elaborate invitation and posting it on her facebook? Also, her friend told me that a couple other kids from school are going. Unless her friend is in on it too. (BTW, her friend is the other girl who was kinda flirting with me over facebook)
