I'm not catering to someone's incompetence to do their job....i think it says on the ups websites that additional attempts will happen, excluding weekends and holidays.

I checked UPS and it said "attempted/missed delivery" so I called my sister in law because she was at my house all day today and said nobody knocked nor rang the doorbell. FFFFFUUUUUU UPS.
Same thing happened with me, but the carrier was Fedex. I have setup the email alert for delivery and exception. Got the email for delivery exception stating "Customer not Available". There was no knock on the door. Just found the door tag.
Is there an option to pickup from the Fedex location or do I have to wait till Monday when they deliver again and again put a door tag without knocking at the door.
You can also use MyUPS to say "please deliver this to a neighbor".I live in an apartment in SF. There's no place to leave the package - unless I want someone to walk by, pick them up and walk off with them.
Then you don't get your phone lol.I'm not catering to someone's incompetence to do their job....
Got 2 from fedex delivered. currently waiting for UPS having some bad feelings.
If it's UPS u can pick up at the hub.Yeah I missed my delivery, no one was home at the time. Guess I'll be waiting until Monday
I'm at the UPS hub now... Fing waste of time. Look at that line for pick up. Omg.Got 2 from fedex delivered. currently waiting for UPS having some bad feelings.
I called them and asked if I could do that (I preordered from my carrier) and was told that my carrier doesn't allow that. Only allows deliveries from Monday-Friday and only when I miss the next 2 attempts I'll be able to pick it up.If it's UPS u can pick up at the hub.
Others have said that the carriers require Apple to use the address of record that they have on file when delivering devices, so the incorrect address may have come from your carrier.Freakin UPS is claiming that the street # is incorrect and changed the delivery to Monday. This is not the first time that they did this to my shipment. I called apple for assistance and they said they put in a request. I was on the phone for more than 30 mins. I asked if anything they can do to compensate for my time and frustration, I was emailed a $15 off $100, $30 off $200 or $45 off $300
That's bull crap are you in the US because I did just picked up just now and it's only the first delivery and for FYI they do have Saturday deliveries if they missed you on the Friday todayI called them and asked if I could do that (I preordered from my carrier) and was told that my carrier doesn't allow that. Only allows deliveries from Monday-Friday and only when I miss the next 2 attempts I'll be able to pick it up.
I know AT&T wouldn't let you change the address. The T-Mobile phones are OK they let me change address without any problems.Others have said that the carriers require Apple to use the address of record that they have on file when delivering devices, so the incorrect address may have come from your carrier.
Not necessarily true. If the shipper requires a signature UPS will not release without a signature. Verizon is one that requires a signature. You could have avoided all these if you've signed up MyChoice. You could authorize the release and they will leave the package at the door when there's no one at home, and they won't be held accountable if the package is lost.
Yeah I live in NY. I asked about the Saturday deliveries and they told me again that my carrier doesn't do that. It's like they insist on me waiting till Monday. I don't want to but if I have to..That's bull crap are you in the US because I did just picked up just now and it's only the first delivery and for FYI they do have Saturday deliveries if they missed you on the Friday today
