OMG, Why is my Verizon data sooo slow?

I'm on the ATT network and will remain a ATT customer for various reasons:
- fastest 3g network
- works fantastic in my area
- no 3g speed limit
- call and internet at the same time

Now Seriously...you Verizon Haters hush your pie holes. Verizon got great call quality and a ton of other stuff that I don't know about.

The more you hate the less customers Verizon will be able to take from ATT which will result in more congestion for those of us on the ATT network.

God I hate threads that put Verizon in a bad light...I want them to continue to grow at the expense of ATT.

possible, but i guess we would have to disregard all of the Android users. They are data heavy users also. They also experienced less than desirable download speeds at first. But eventually it all worked out.

the only logical thing to do here is, wait and see. If its not better before the 30 day period is up, then take it back. But if it does improve and you can live with it, keep it.

if you return the iPhone now and later find out the speeds and network stabilized, well then you'll feel pretty silly and wasted ALOT of money in the process.

Patience people. Give it a few more days, maybe weeks. Cooler heads prevail.

lol look at this kid, facts... I have personal experience of my 3g going slow as hell the first few weeks the iphone released. And yes people thought at&t were capping upload speeds becuase upload speeds went from very high, to a lot slower. Just please stop posting, you are one of the biggest FOLLOWERS in this forum. BTW, my city wasn't on there so you failed again, how could I've experienced such dramatic differences in upload speeds? Just because you did and a couple of people did doesn't prove anything. I had the launch iPhone 4 as well and I didn't experience anything out of the ordinary

Oh, and I could care less about whatever the ____ you say, I'll post my smart one liners all day if I want...

Maybe when they said their network was ready for the iPhone, they meant they would throttle them so they would not cause issues like what happened on AT&T.

Verizon's network was built for laptops using 3G cards, and that's a much heavier load.

Contrary to popular belief, smartphones normally aren't that data hungry in comparison. Even ATT said it wasn't the majority cause of its data increase.
