Most of the good headphones are the older ones. Audiophile headphones don’t change quickly and new ones aren’t exactly better.

Yeah I have a pair of Audio Technica MDR-7's that I adore. But I can separate my at home listening headphones from my consumer earbuds which I use for commuting.

This is the funniest s#@t I have read all year! I won't even begin to explain why cause you must not travel out of the USA. Apple maps sucks and Siri is basic as hell
What, you think Androids have better support and security or something? Better privacy? Show me the Android with better video quality. Show me the Android with better silicon. Which Androids hold their values better than iPhone?

I use Apple Maps overseas all the time, including extensively in Asia. Works perfectly and for mass transit too.

"Siri sucks" is a tired narrative that was outdated years ago. She's very much improved and can do anything I ask and would expect from an assistant.

Username checks out.

Absolutely I think Siri is better than Google assistant because she does everything I need (even has tested better at commands) and doesn’t mine my data.

I despise Gmail for similar reasons and think it’s harder to use.

Same with Google Maps...Apple Maps is more than fine...I prefer it.

iPhones has better security, privacy, and support than Android...period. iPhones have better chips, better resale value, and longer usability. Better video and as good or better cameras than almost any other Android phone, the “better” being subjective at the very top.

iOS > Android

1. On your iPhone, use Safari, search for anything, check something on Amazon, browse the Internet for a while, then go back for example to this post in Macrumors, check the top ad. I'm using the latest versions of iOS, and I see targeted ads and info related to what I was doing on the Web. Everybody tracks you in one way or another, some may redac your name, others no, but they do track you, they use your info, they hear your Siri conversations. You just feel safer with Apple and that is fine, personally I don't care if I use google assistant or siri, I only use them to set alarms, Apple an Google know that I wake up at 8:00am and snooze the alarm until 9:00am..

2. What do you mean by "Gmail"?, I'm asking because you said "thinks it's harder to use". I don't think you are referring to how to use an email system because you should know you can have GMail, Outlook or iCloud accounts in your iOS Mail APP or Outlook APP, and they work the same (is just email!), the account type is irrelevant, maybe you are referring to the Gmail "APP", in that case yes.. it annoying because of the ads, and also Google likes to scan your emails (that is why I moved to Outlook).

3. "iPhones has better security, privacy, and support than Android", If you are confused between what hardware is and what software is, how can you be so sure about the rest of things you said?

Instant buy if:

- bigger battery for the sake of dropping off 3D touch
- A13 chip (long software support)
- camera supports night mode as rumored (even 2018 iPhones didn't get the night mode)
- 64GB with the price of 399$ (would be 499€ here in Europe probably)

kudos if:
- IP67 rating
- Bluetooth 5.0
- wireless charging

I want to believe.
I do think we'll get all the features as you mentioned but not for $399. More like $449 - same as the current iPhone 8 pricing.

$399 SE2 rumor may turn out to be correct. Despite the 2+ year old 8 still being sold at $449.

Same thing happened when $399 SE was introduced, replacing the 2+ year old 5s which was being sold for $449 right up until the SE replaced it.

If Apple can add all those features for $399, that would be an insta-buy for me as well.

This is ridiculous, another brew up of the same old formula. Apple has become such a lazy ass company. Where is that bezel less 4,7” iPhone I’m asking myself for years? Why not put some of your millions in developing something new instead of rererereleasing outdated designs? If it wasn’t for the software I would have switched to another manufacturer years ago.

Apple is not going to make a low priced ($400-ish) iPhone that uses design elements from its thousand dollar flagship. When is anyone going to realize this.

Sorry to burst everyones bubble but itll look like an iphone 8 with a cheaper price tag and beefed up internals , like they did with the SE a few years ago. Its not going to have a stainless chassis and frosted glass back. Good grief.

ITS A BUDGET PHONE

But I can get that for this price already if I buy the iPhone 8. Why would I want this iPhone 9? Just drop the price on the 8 another 50-100.

I'm excited about this. I'm returning an XS I just got as it seems mine is one of those with trouble on reception. My Wi-Fi would drop out and my cellular connection was worse than my 7 Plus.

A few months wait, I think it'll be worth it. I've also found that I'm not a fan of OLED on iPhone too. Which is weird because I love my LG G8 ThinQ.

I don't want the 11 because if the same modem will be in the SE 2/iPhone 9, I'll be better off waiting. I'm still super fond of touch ID to be really honest.

Wouldn't you rather have the newest processor and latest camera optics for the same price in a new phone instead of save 50$ on a 2+ year old phone?

I'm probably in the minority, but I actually couldn't care less wether the new iPhone 9/SE2 had smaller bezels or USB-C.

My friend has a gorgeous looking midrange Samsung phone: giant edge-to-edge screen, shiny rainbow-colored back, USB-C, multiple cameras... And yet the phone is laggy as hell, the camera takes awful pictures even in broad daylight and the build quality of the phone just isn't the same as an iPhone...

This phone's price is about the same as the iPhone 9's price (400-450$) and I would pick the big-bezeled iPhone in a heartbeat. Heck, I'd rather keep my 3.5 year old iPhone 7.

For me, it's not even almost a competition — I'd always rather have a reliable, fast phone instead of a flashy lag-fest of a phone that's probably not even going to receive the next 2 versions of the OS...

Still bezels and a home button in 2020? :/
I totally don't get comments like these. A lot of people love the home button!!! So we should get rid of it just because it's 2020? I, on the other hand, dislike all-screen devices. Prefer physical buttons.

Apple could do an all-screen SE-II and that will be better than rehashing the iPhone 8.

In 2020, the home button will transfer into under the screen.

iPhone 8 had wireless charging for 3 years now, alongside fast charging.

I sure hope Apple doesn't cheap out on us and remove wireless charging. I really hope it's just an iPhone 8, feature complete, with updated specs.
