When there is a product update, how long is the Apple Store usually "down" for?
No clue. Usually when it's maintenance it's at night and it's only for 5-10 minutes it seems.

Guys...This seems way too long for just maintenance.
Yeah and if there are no updates today, wait for this to be repeated the next day there looks to be a good chance of an update.wow. nice sarcasm. just as soon as it seems that you might be wrong.... you go on the offensive. nice tactics.
If it's scheduled maintenance, maybe. But nobody schedules maintenance during business hours. Perhaps they've had a critical failure somewhere.
I put my money on that nothings going down today.
If this is an update, what's the under/over on how quickly people start moaning and groaning about the update? "Oh geez, it's doesn't have a 90" screen with 48 cores and an invisible keyboard".
