Order Thread for UK (BST)

I had trouble getting on to the web site and the app on my iPad initially. Luckily I decided to try the app on my iPhone. That worked first time. I managed to preorder a 42mm SS with sport band for delivery between April 24th and May 8th. I put in a separate order for a blue leather loop and an extra 2m charge cable which have delivery dates of 2-4 weeks and 7-10 days respectively. As I preordered them together and decided not to have separate shipments as the charger would then have incurred a shipping charge I left them as one shipment.
 
Hands went into auto drive and ordered:

2 x 42mm Sport with green band 24/4
1 x 42mm sport space grey 24/4
1 x 42mm sport space grey 12/5 - 26/5

Ordered three on one Apple ID then the other on my other, just rang up to cancel one of the green sports and the dude said he couldn't cancel it yet but they won't cancel them if you've ordered more than you're allowed, apparently it's just in case you order 10 in one order rather than seperately

8:03 confirmation email

Not sure if that means I wont get this on the 24th or not ?

Will have to wait for my tracking details I assume.

Me and the husband are different wrist size so we can strap swap lol

I used the app and had favourited the watches I wanted, but when it came to transferring to the checkout there was no button, i ended up having to make 3 orders which im sure my bank will get a lil suss about.

How could you fav and order multiple in one order?

Everyone who was in the first window got 24/4-8/5. So chances are good for 24th :)
Second Window got 4-6 weeks
Third window simply says June.
 
has anyone had a confirmation email that says they will definitely get delivery on the 24th or do they all give that window until the 5th May ?

There's no delivery fee for the charger by itself.
 
Pre-ordered:

1 * Apple Sports Watch + White strap
1 * Apple Watch + Stainless Steel strap

Guessing this is not correct when I put my order number into the Deliveries app :eek:

Mine has just recently changed to processing on the Apple store website. Still says delivery 24/4 - 8/5 and I expect it will for a while.
 
Just managed to get a try on appointment with my friends appointment straight after me. Woo hoo!
 
Just tried on Sport, Leather Loop, Milanese and Links.

Links is definitely my favourite a little disappointed that I didn't order it this morning.

Milanese which is the one I ordered is also nice. Not sure I could've justified the cost upgrade to links.

Leather loop is much nicer than it looks in pictures. Very comfortable too.

Sport Band is just as comfy and "premium" as John Gruber suggested.

Roll on 24/04-08/05.

Damn, I ordered a 42mm Space Grey Sports at 8:25 and got the June delivery date, this sucks.

Maybe if some people cancels their orders it will skip ahead.

Oh well, patience...

Thanks for the help guys! I decided to bite the bullet and ordered my green sports watch :D I don't think I've been this excited for an Apple product since the first iPhone. I just hope it gets delivered before the 30th June as I'm off to Argentina for six months after that!

Oh, and the Apple Store app is so much easier than the website. All done in less than 30 seconds!
 
I managed to order immediately and got my confirmation through at 0801 yet I've still got the 24-5th window. don't see how many people could have ordered before me so will hopefully get it on the 24th.
 
Just cancelled a 42mm green sports band, hopefully it will bump someone's despatch upto launch now :)
