Frustrating thing is, isnt that the very model they are offering to developers with guaranteed launch day delivery?

I ordered mine at 08:03:?? and got my email at 08:04:40. I ordered a Space Grey 42mm Watch. I haven't been charged and my order is still processing.
I am every bit as upset as you are as I tried my damn hardest to get one bought! My delivery day is 24.04 / 08.05 just the same as you!!!

I got my email at 8:05:17 and got 4-6 weeks with the 42mm SGS! Missed out on the first wave by less then 37 seconds. It made me re type my phone number :-(
 
What are people's thoughts on us being able to walk into an Apple Store on Friday/Saturday and being able to purchase a band?

I've pre-ordered a Link Bracelet separately (I purchased my Stainless Steel :apple: Watch with a White Sports Band to get the earliest shipping date), but would love to pick it up before "May".
 
If my order doesn't arrive on Friday, this will be me on Saturday after marching into the closest Apple Store.

Got this out of an online chat a couple of weeks back during my 'preparation stage' lol. Take it as you will with an online chat.
He said with couriers, it just depends who gets to the warehouse first to take them away to their hubs.

I'd guess little to no chance, given that quite a lot of the delivery hold ups seem to be due to band combinations. I doubt any will be available in store until all the link bracelet paired pre-orders have arrived, sadly.

Same deal with my spare black sport strap, no way I'm expecting to get one until after all the black sport strap toting watches are shipped. That said, I think May is a pretty fair sounding delivery date, given the watches that come with black bands aren't scheduled till June.
 
This thread is hilarious been reading right through for past few days, some of you should be nominated for your comical responses...... I'm charged and preparing for dispatch 42mm Sports with White Band ordered at 8.08 ;)
