My 38 SG is still processing although I got an email 8:04 and others have stated a later time with the same watch and they are preparing to dispatch - so not sure about the FIFO system!!!

Also got the email of death. Strange decision to send it. I've been saying would prefer some communication to tell me that they have completed everything they can for Friday and wait until next week but this email doesn't really do this - it still suggests a sliver of hope.

I agree. Seems a strange decision to send that email. Reading between the lines it's an email to let you down that you aren't getting it but still leaves a glimmer of hope really. The communication has been needed but better to just say you missed out on first batch but you will receive by 8/5.

Same here, I'm taking that as a good sign for Friday. I'm stuck at work until 8pm or so that day too, so it's gonna be a loooooooooong day knowing it's at home waiting!

Damn this 2 week delay has been hard enough, can you imagine what the next two weeks will be like? Eek!

It would have been far more sensible to separate the watch faces and straps into separate units and then you could have chosen to suit and made packaging/dispatch much easier too.
