Ok, I guess that invalidates my initial theory! Was it just one order you made? I got an email but doublechecked and it was only for the "still processing" one of my 2 orders.
Wow, that statement just makes you sound a little uneducated. Mechanical watches are investment pieces, they outlive humans and retain value well.

Email received that my SG 42mm will arrive between 24/04 and 08/05. Still on processing despite order confirmation at 08:03.
I accept that I can't expect delivery before 08/05 but Apple are not showing themselves well here at all. Their press comment earlier about customers receiving watches in order is complete nonsense. Many ordering the same watch as I have moved to the next stage whilst I haven't. That's very poor management. Leaves a sour taste, to be honest.
It's a watch, and not that important, but Apple should be careful about the comments they make.

38mm white sports, late in the day 10/04...shipping expected June. The email references this order number.
I'd also ordered the dreaded SG 42mm at 8:04...no movement on that one
I'm starting to think about cancelling my current order (42mm Space Grey/Black Sport) and re-ordering with the 42mm SS with either Milanese or Classic Buckle and just accepting the June wait.
Since they don't charge until shipment I can afford to pay a little bit extra.

It was expected in June, so didn't have the original launch delivery timeframe, hence the email!
Therefore my theory holds, with an addon!
