Just joined this place, so apologies if I do anything wrong.

Curious if anyone with 38mm space grey sport have had theirs changed to preparing for dispatch yet? I'm still 'processing' with a 08:04:21 confirmation email.

So, I see there's an email that's gone out that's caused a bit of a rumpus... :eek:

Nothing has changed from what's in my sig.

My Amex charge is still in pending and the order is still showing "Preparing for Despatch".

Also, UPS has no reference for me in my UPS Choice account, but my Apple deliveries normally come via UKMail I think (my iPhone 5 & mine & Wife's 6s did too).

Do we have forfeits as time passes, and people's guesses are wrong? :D
 
What a calamity this launch has been. Say what you want, but there is a huge wave of negative feeling. People with mid May commit dates getting their same configuration watch shipped ahead of those with 24th April / early may dates.
Apple don't seem to care and are just aggravating customers with continued celebrity freebies and patronising emails such as the one sent last night.
It's a mess.
Those of you whose watches are preparing for shipment will not doubt wade in disagreeing with me.
I'll say it again, if you order a watch within 120 seconds of a site going live and don't get it for launch, something is very wrong.

Apple got this one wrong folks. I've lost immediate enthusiasm for this product but will probably get to enjoy it one day. Don't think I'll ever preorder online again after this, at least I have some level of control by waiting in line.

I got my preparing notification around 9am yesterday. Hopefully it'll be the same today. But with apples description of "preparing for dispatch" I'm not quite sure how long it takes to put stickers on boxes :D

Waiting in line isn't all that either. I remember waiting in a line outside the O2 store a whole day for an iPhone 5 at the time and one person before me in the line, got to us and they told us they'd run out of stock and that's it. Unlucky or what!
