I have now tragically become addicted to refreshing my order page. I know it's totally ridiculous and the epitome of time wasting, and yet here I am.

Something about this particular launch that has me on the edge of my seat

Any chance of a Saturday delivery with UPS or UKMail? Keen to make sure I have my watch before the London marathon on Sunday.

For the iPhone 6 launch ups had so many parcels to shift that they delivered Saturday, which isn't something they normally do in my area. Depending on how many watches they get swamped by, they may do the same again.

I dont think it will be on the same scale though. Orders and production are nothing close to what it was for the iPhone

It's the not knowing that has me checking my order for updates. This two week delivery window is a stroke of genius on Apples part. Knowing that I might be denied on the 24th increases the anticipation.

It's the launch of a new product category for Apple that's doing it. Always exciting when they launch something completely new.

I keep checking my bank account and order status hoping to see something -- anything -- but alas, nothing yet...

Gonna be a long sleepless night knowing it has started and we're going to be late to the party haha

At least you can rest knowing everybody in the UK is feeling the same, nothing to worry about though :)

It's more likely that although the US customers are seeing charges now, the UK banking system will update overnight. Additionally, we have a smaller market to ship across, so I wouldn't be shocked to see charging and shipping a day behind.

There's no reason to think they wouldn't be arriving in the UK today and tomorrow if the single source qouted in the MacRumours article today is to be believed. Once they're here they can easily be shipped for delivery in a day.

Arguably we might not see updates until Thursday.

As our banks to have those lovely notifications, might our online banking be slower to update? Maybe we've been charged but don't know it yet?

It sucks that our banks don't do those notifications. I have the 2 HSBC apps and they show the current available balance, it has not changed at all in the last 3 days, so I know it's not been charged yet and that available balance is always current.
