Depends where you are in the country I think. I've only had things from Apple come from UPS too but some people have had deliveries from UK Mail.

Interesting.

I guess my charger may come by UK mail as it says 'by postal delivery' and I think I once had a SIM card come via UK mail...

Anyway, I shall look forward to seeing the man in brown shorts ;)

I know this was asked in a previous thread, but I don't think there was a clear answer.

Has anyone ever been able to contact a UKMail depot and request that we collect the parcel before it goes out for delivery? Or does a delivery have to be attempted before we can go and collect it?

I think 'postal delivery' means Royal Mail. Confusingly, UKMail are couriers and not (AFAIK) associated with Royal Mail.

Have you been charged and had your charger dispatch now?

If you have, did it charge to your account after the americans said theirs did on the other thread?

I asked this earlier, but nobody replied. Thanks.

My 2p, my iPhone 6 came with UKMail last year. Prior to delivery they told everyone text messages would be sent out to let them know what their delivery window would be. Of course that didn't happen, and they had no explanation as to why not… but it came, around 11am I think? It was a loooooong morning though! Oh, and I'm in Lancashire.

Yeah, if we get to Thursday night and don't have anything, that's when i am planning on sacrificing my neighbors cat to the Shipping God's.

Right now, i am still totally optimistic. IF the US guys hadn't got their notifications yet, i would be panicing.

The real fun starts on this UK thread when some of us get our money taken, and others don't. ;)

Lol, poor cat. I know what you mean though, don't think I've ever been so keen for someone to take my money :D

I didn't reply as my charger wasn't ordered in 10/04, only decided last week that I might want a 2m spare, ordered on 16/04 along with a Milanese band, both still processing.

I'm hoping it's UPS that deliver, purely because their depot isn't as far from my house the UK Mail one and I want to try and arrange a collection from the depot - saves me taking a day off waiting (im)patiently for it.

My stuff always gets shipped from Apple by UPS. I had something delivered by UK Mail a few weeks ago and I went on the website and clicked the link to say "don't deliver my package I will come pick it up". Went though fine and I had the email to say it's been held at the depot. So next day I went to the depot and the woman there said "oh sorry, it's out for delivery, our system doesn't work very well..."

So anyone thinking of asking them to hold it at the depot may want to think twice...

Don't know if this is even an option with UPS?

Thank you.

Anyone else know if any from UK has been charged for charging cables at all from apple?

Really hope its not UKMail - O2 use the idiots and the driver didn't deliver two iPhone last time, cause "there was no where to park". I live on one of the main roads into Birmingham - and there is plenty of parking just off the main road. Came out for delivery the following day and driver "couldn't find property" Had to complain directly to their CEO and he couldn't be arsed - claimed 2 days lost work from O2.

Might have to stick a sign on my house

My 2m watch charging cable ordered 10th April is still:

Processing Items
Dispatched: 7-10 business days
Delivery: 24 Apr, 2015 - 29 Apr, 2015 by Postal Delivery

Paid by AMEX card which, in my experience, is charged once the order is dispatched.

Sadly, all my Apple deliverys have been with have been with UKMail in the Manchester area. However other UK deliverys have been DPD who have a really good tracking system.

This thread is going to be well and truly filed under #firstworldproblems

I ordered at 8:01am and had confirmation by 8:02am, my order status still says 'Processing' and I have had no money taken from my card.

I'm still pretty confident of getting the watch on Friday, the stock could already be sitting at Tamworth or even the local depots waiting for delivery, who knows.

If it doesn't happen to come on Friday then the world will carry on turning (hopefully) and the watch will arrive shortly......

----------

PS - As long as it's not Yodel or myHermes who deliver then I'm happy. If I were unfortunate enough to have either of those 2 then I'd be lucky to see my watch before October.....
